We had our wedding at Lacuna Lofts, which meant we had the absolute pleasure of having LM Catering as our wedding caterer. We had so many friends and family members compliment the dinner and dessert table, saying that this was “actually delicious wedding food”! We had a number of dietary restrictions, and LM’s vast menu and options made it so easy to accommodate everyone’s needs while also making everything taste DELICIOUS! Everything was presented beautifully, and we particularly loved that the sides were served family-style, which we hadn’t seen at many weddings before. We made some changes to our picks numerous times, and Tania was so accommodating in making any and all changes we requested! Our dessert table and yummy pretzel late night snacks were huge hits with our guests, and being able to get everything – dinner, dessert, and snacks – from one vendor was so seamless. We would highly recommend LM to anyone looking for a tasty, fun wedding caterer!

Finding a caterer was probably the biggest challenge during the planning of our wedding. We needed someone who had substantial vegetarian options (my now-husband is vegetarian and has been to too many weddings where he was served steamed rice and roasted vegetables), someone who offered memorable or unusual dishes and appetizers (we're big foodies)... not to mention someone who did it WELL, at a price we could fit into our budget.Enter LM Catering & Events. We first encountered them during our venue search, and while we didn't wind up choosing one of their (gorgeous, just not "us") locations, their catering menu intrigued us. We were happy to discover that they will serve in open-catering venues, and even happier when we arrived to our tasting and Gabi walked us through our menu choices. Everything was so delicious, it was tough to narrow our picks!Throughout the process, Gabi was helpful and answered any questions we had (and there were many). On the day, the team delivered not only great food, but a great experience for our guests. We're just sad their related restaurant group doesn't serve precisely the same dishes... but if we could have them anytime, maybe the reception would've been less special.

Lesley R. and Mary K. of LM Catering & Events were critical in making our wedding the perfect day. From the very first meeting at the venue tour, we knew we were in good hands. They were flexible and took our concerns and requests seriously. Lesley and Mary worked seamlessly with our day-of planner and vendors. On the day of our wedding, the LM Staff was professional and courteous. Not to mention the food was incredible!

When leaving venue, hotel access where guests entered venue from was locked off to the hotel. The guard told guests to leave to go outside in unclean sidewalks in freezing cold for guests who were staying in the hotel who went to the wedding, women wearing high heels , men and children in slippery dress shoes, without any coats dressed in wedding formal attire. The pavement was icy and full of snow, high winds and frigid cold. We were told to take my 88 yr old mother out onto the icy into the frigid cold to walk around building and come back into hotel through the hotel entrance around the corner,approx 100ft away. The gates were locked off to hotel access back to where we all entered at. We stayed at this hotel because the wedding was at the connected building. No one ever said this would happen that guests would be locked off from their hotel elevator. We had to escalate to a manager as the guard refused a senior guest and children a simple consideration without a manager escalating the complaint. He only had to unlock the gate at the bar that was closed early to walk the folks to the hotel access 40ft away so they could get back to their rooms. Unforgivable inconsideration , he don't give thought to the chance of a lawsuit of mulitiple guest injuries the could have happened do to icy/ snowed uncleared walkways. I wish I'd taken pictures of the outside walkways on the way back to our room. Guard seemed to be put out that he had to open gate and see guests through the indoor access. One could look through to our access to our elevators. The wedding facility was gorgeous, the food was delicious, bathrooms were lovely, servers were wonderful. My only complaint was the above comment, that should have never happened.

We fell in love with the Lacuna Lofts as a venue for our reception, but we didn’t realize how amazing the staff of LM Events would be! We seriously could not have done this wedding at all without Mary. She is truly an all star and was always prompt and on it with the zillion questions we had over two years. We felt so dang lucky to get to work with her, and she’s someone that will take care of you big time. Plus, their food is fantastic—our tasting was so fun.
