I paid $14 including tax for two scoops of ice cream that tasted off, almost bitter, and gave me a horrible stomachache. I only ate one scoop and regretted it from the first bite.I can't find a list of ingredients that is used in their homemade ice cream on their website, but it seems like it's coconut-based ice cream. I have no allergies to any coconut product, so I'm not sure what could have upset me.

Best vegan ice cream I've had in Chicago. Donuts were fire too. Vegan ice cream is like regular ice cream, not soft serve. Highly recommendedVegetarian options: All vegan

Logan Vegan was a one of a kind cafe! Great ice cream flavors (matcha and ube was amazing!), fantastic vegan sandwiches and lots of small-business owned products sold on the side. Can’t wait to visit again!

Logan Vegan easily has the best vegan Ice Cream I've ever had, and the owner John makes it himself which I find even cooler. It's coconut based, but doesn't taste coconutty at all. The taste and texture is just like normal ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant and used to just take a bunch of lactaids when I go to Jeni's ice cream but now I just go to Logan Vegan and I'm good - haven't been back to Jeni's in months. My personal favorites are the mint chip and cookies & cream.

We went for ice cream last night. The vegan ice cream was fantastic. It just so happened we stumbled into open mic night. We had such a great time enjoying it that we ended up staying till the end of the night. Can't wait to go back.

Open mic nights every Thursday! So glad I stumbled upon this gem on. Thursday night. My new weekly tradition: ice cream and some improvised music and humor. Delicious ice cream. Everything on the menu is vegan!

This is the best vegan ice cream store I've ever been to!The ice cream is incredibly creamy and I seriously can't believe that John, the owner, makes all the flavors himself.I've been on the HUNT for a good vegan creamery. It's better than Van Leeuwan and Vaca's. Until Logan Vegan, I thought Van Leeuwan was the best, but even then there were only maybe 2 flavors I liked from them. Every flavor I've tried so far at Logan Vegan has been heavenly.I don't think I can rave about this place enough, it's so underrated. It's 30 minutes from me but I won't think twice about driving there if I have even the slightest urge for the ice cream.I got the sprinkle cookie dough ice cream (which I think is my favorite) and sampled the chocolate (to die for) and cookies and creme (which are made with gluten free cookies). I'm going for the mint chocolate chip next.Johns also got vegan cookies, donuts (from Beacon Doughnuts), and a bunch of other vegan shelf snacks. With live music and a really cute atmosphere to bring friends and family to, idk what more there is to ask for in an ice cream store.100% you need to try this place. You'll regret it if you don't.

This place is really cool to start. Walking in, I enjoyed the chill vibes, the design and layout was simple but nice, and I like how you can chill and read there too. I grabbed some snacks and 2 pints of ice cream. The Ube ice cream was good. I'm newly vegan, and I have to say getting good ice cream was a worry, but there's is homemade and has a really good texture too. I think it had a slight undertone of a taste I couldn't describe, but it's still an 8.5 out if 10 compared to regular Ube ice cream. I'm also SUPER picky about ice cream so that's really good. The vegan Oreo ice cream is a solid 9 to me. The guy who runs the shop was really friendly, easy to talk to, and it's great having mom and pop shops like this in the community. I would share picks but we ate everything in one night
