Lola’s Coney Island is a legit taste of Detroit right in Humboldt Park. I grabbed a Detroit-style Coney Dog with chili, mustard, and onions—just like back home. Also tried the chili cheese fries; they were loaded and flavorful. The staff was super chill, and the spot had that cozy, neighborhood vibe. Definitely coming back for more of that Detroit goodness.
My favorite hot dog stand in chicago! And they make my favorite italian beef. I ask for it dipped, their reply "of course" ? Oh, and on Fridays they have a lobsta roll - yes, spent some years in Boston, and I approve!
Exactly what we were looking for when we drove from the twin cities to Chicago. Looking for a true Chicago hot dog experience. The young lady was so nice that she let me back my truck and trailer and take up the whole parking lot while my wife and I waited for our food. The homemade touch is great.
