Not sure I’d call it a full-on dive bar, but it’s got the low-lit, laid-back energy. Stiff drinks, packed crowd, and a good spot for socializing without any pressure. Seating is open and casual - come as you are, grab a drink, and settle in. 🍺

Such a cool spot. Felt like a classic neighborhood dive. Highly recommend especially if you’re waiting for a table next door. Great people and solid pours. Can’t wait to come back.

We stopped in before a dinner reservation and I loved every drink we tried!
Great happy hour spot - lively with a great menu. It definitely is popular so can get a little loud but I like that it also has a lot of energy. The Miami vice was delicious and refreshing for the summer!

It's fun and lively, and their Aperol spritzes are huge, yummy, and cheap! If you want to have a blast, you should totally go there for a drink or two.

Above average prices. Inattentive service.

They didn’t let a clearly let an old man in who needed to use the restroom. (And was visually capable of also spending money there) It wasn’t a problem that they said no.
It was how they said it.
Hospitality is hospitality, and that was far from hospitable.

Chill spot in the West Loop. Dropped about $20 on a Shift Beer and a Chicago Dog. Beer was crisp, and the dog had that classic snap. The place has a laid-back, old-school tavern feel. Only downside: it gets pretty packed on weekends, so snagging a seat can be tough. Still, a solid go-to for a casual night out.

Nice, chill, unfussy bar with good beer specials. My only critique is that the tamales should not come in a Ziploc bag. And the water cups are cafeteria cups, although they have standard drinking glasses. Weird.

Drinks were great, but unfortunately the experience was soured by the service. Jeff, the bartender, was very rude and unwelcoming, which made us feel uncomfortable. It’s disappointing when good drinks are overshadowed by poor customer service. Hopefully this can be addressed, as the bar itself has potential.

Not welcoming.
I walked in, and I gave the bouncer a Mexican ID at first by accident and then gave him my California ID, and they waited until i got to a table before a male manager approached me with a very very aggressive tone and told me I was stumbling and needed to leave immediately. I had been drinking a couple of beers before arriving there, but in no way was I stumbling or drunk. He was very aggressive and yelling at me.
Also, the large tall bouncer at the door with the dreds put his hands on me to push me out!!
I am very disturbed by this entre situation!!
Why??? Wth did or could I have done to cause this type of response...?! NOTHING!!! So, why?
My friends were witnesses... this type of behavior is unacceptable. Never coming here again and would highly recommend any other bar!

Very disappointing experience. We were excited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but unfortunately, we were turned away at the door without any clear explanation. It felt unfair and left us and others around us extremely upset. The staff came across as rude and dismissive. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place based on how we were treated. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in Chicago.

630 pm on Saturday March 1st. Ridiculous bouncer gave us hell for just trying to walk in the door. I was tired and had bought a diet coke as a pick me up down the street after visiting Haymarket. He starts yelling at me as soon as I walk in. Starts saying it had alcohol in it. It did not. I offered for him to try it or smell it. He doesn't. Just keeps jawing. I voluntarily throw it away as I dont want to deal with nonsense. Idiot keeps jawing still. I basically have said nothing at this point, haven't fought him and have been fully compliant.
At this point I'm done. My gf is up at the bar unaware of this nonsense and has already ordered drinks. I tell her we are leaving. Another guy stops me and asks if the bouncer was giving me a hard time too. He's with his wife - clean cut and soft spoken guy. Says the bouncer was accusing him of being drunk or high. He's stunned by the whole thing. He is also clearly not drunk or high, but a little in shock. They too decide to leave. Tell bouncer I'll never be back. He says I'm not allowed back. He apparently owns the place. Unreal.
Been here literally 40+ times over several years. Have brought friends with us too. Have spent lots of $$$ in other words - never had or been a problem. Here or anywhere else for that matter.
Well, end of an era. Never again under any circumstances.

Chubby man bouncer at the door denied my ID despite me being 23 years old. He profiled me and denied my entry. Extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. If you are under the age of 30 would not recommend.

The bouncer did not let my friend in literally because he was gay and having a good time. Not drunk. He was a good time and bringing good energy. Neanderthal behavior. I get that high school was hard but why take it out on everyone else
