Along vegan row on Wilson, just walking by and had to try it. It’s Detroit-style, vegan pizza and don’t let that dissuade the Chicago in you to stay away. This is real good pizza. Ordered the Motor City Derby and it is one of the best pizzas in the city. It’s square, with burnt vegan cheese on the crust, vegan sausage, tree nut chèvre, and finally, a real garlic and tomato red sauce, just full of flavor.
The best pizza in Chicago, and the best vegan pizza. We are beyond excited that Longacre reopened.Note that the restaurant is now 100% vegan.
Longacre used to be great. Apparently they are 100% Vegan now but that is not obvious on their website (caviar) and would be fine if I knew it before I ordered. Also there is no way to contact the store other than through caviar which is just silly. I Ordered a pizza with pepperoni on it and there Wolverine says carnivorous bounty and it’s not it’s vegan which you need to state in the menu vegan pepperoni. So disappointed because I was excited to get the super amazing pizza but got this, it tastes ok but would not ever order it again. Super fail done with this group they constantly change stuff for the worst.
One of the best pizzas places in the city!
OK when I first walked in last night I didn’t expect such an incredible handcrafted pizza with the sauce on the side (which is their style) and I really appreciate the customer service I received the two gentlemen were very professional and so incredible I will go back anytime ! and yes you have to pay for quality but one slice will feed an average person ...!
Great food and drinks, I would definitely suggest you order drinks from them. Our friends brought in a micro brew and were charged a fee even though they weren’t offered glasses or an opener for the bottles. I probably won’t be back because of this ridiculous fee but their pizza was good!!!
Had dinner on the patio. The pizza was amazing. Crispy square edges and fresh toppings. The menu is also kid friendly and has a decent wine and beer list.
The first time I ate here it was okay, but I much prefer Jets. For some reason they don't put sauce on the pizza itself, which is not Detroit style at all, but to each their own I guess.
I typically pick up the pizza to go, instead of going into the restaurant. I love their pizza it is just fantastic, definitely top 5 in the city for me. Not for people who think New York style is the only way to eat pizza though. I've gotten the Red Devil pizza multiple times and everything on it is wonderful. I have eaten at the restaurant itself and I enjoy the ambiance, they even have a very cute outdoor patio
Keep your expectations low. Gave them a second try and am still very disappointed. The food is fine but bland IF they get it right. The servers seem to have no idea what they are doing, the kitchen doesn't prepare for meals to come out at the same time, and the runner has no idea which pizza is which. One server didn't know what beer on tap is. Another didn't know what a dirty martini was but brought out her guess of what it should be anyway. Then they brought us a beer with a HOT glass straight out of the dish washer. My food came out literally 20 minutes before anyone else so awkward and cold. Maybe stick to the carry out. SOMEONE here needs to take a class on how restaurants work, or maybe try going to a good restaurant and learn something.

Detroit style pizza with fresh ingredients including house made pepperoni. The deep crispy pan crust is excellent as is the ribbon of tomato sauce.
I never thought I would love something more than Chicago Pizza! I have to say Detroit Pizza is phenomenal and refreshing. Definite must try!!!!!
Delicious pizza and appetizers! Huge portions and choices.
Pizza is really delicious - nicely crispy and caramelized on the bottom. Sauce is very good and has a little heat to it. Comes separate for take out, so don't forget to put in on.
Been to this awesome uptown spot a few times now. They have fixed some earlier slow service issues and the pizza is killer. Just added a new menu!
