The food was awesome, really great menu options and large portions. The service however, sucked. Our waitress was very cold and off putting, felt like diner service. My partner ordered a coffee, and there was a giant red lipstick stain on the cup, when we told the waiter she looked at us took the cup and walked away silently. No apology, no nothing. She looked annoyed that we even said something...
Went for brunch. Duck hash was really good. Meat was tender and juicy. Potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I almost loved the chicken and waffles, but the dish was too sweet. The chicken was fantastic, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. But the waffle had too much syrup/caramel sauce.
You can get a good burger anywhere in Chicago. You want a Michelin dinner because of the other stuff that they have. Bad service with rude servers, cold food, worst Michelin-rated restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. If you want a good burger save the extra money and just go to Red Hot Ranch or Small Cheval
Great menu with interesting & delicious dishes.
Incredible place. My wife and I love bourbon and this is one of the best bars we have been to. Amongst the best in the country. Gourmet food too. Highly recommended
We have been big fans of this restaurant but our experience for Easter was less than optimal. We started with two bloody mary’s that were watered down and had a strange spice profile. We were unable to drink them they weren’t taken off our bill. We then ordered one of the Easter donut specials for our son and he was unable to cut it with a knife it appeared to be stale. The donut was inedible it tasted as if it was fried in bacon/duck fat inadvertently. Our server apologized for the donut and took it off our bill however the overall experience was less than desirable.
Our Chicago go-to!
Best whiskey menu I’ve ever seen, and the rotating seasonal menu is always a hit. It’s the kind of place you can take someone to if you want to really impress them with the food quality but not overwhelm them with a super “stuffy” restaurant. The service is great, ambiance is phenomenal, and food is killer. The burger, fries and burrata are always a winner.
Brilliant food, fantastic staff, selection of whiskey of course was the main draw here. Had a blast with our friends when we came here. Would absolutely come again.
Only downside was that it was so dark inside it was hard to read the menus! Haha
Delicious food!
