An hour and a half for delivery- I live 5 minutes away. Ordered their specialty pizza. Not good- maybe cuz it was ice cold. Never going to them again.

Re my order no 30 placed 9/15/2024 items missing from my chicken dinners no bread no Cole slaw no cheese cups which I paid for. You were going to send them right away but they never came. I order from you often but rest assured I will never order again. There are too many other places to order from

Hello, fellow human friends! I think I found my new go-to place for evening and late night pizza. I am most certainly not a Werewolf, despite previous allegations, but actually just another kindred nocturnal human creature person and enthusiastic enjoyer of pizza, preferably at nighttime, and from this location, specifically.
Picked up the Lonnie's special, which came with sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Beautifully made pie, well-seasoned with toppings generously spread over. Excellent crust, which was doughy and had a bit of crunch. Overall, the pizza was delicious, and I'm looking forward to trying out their other menu selections.
Edit: On 5/16, not too long before they closed, I stopped by and picked up a few jumbo slices on my way home from chasing white tail deer in the forest preserve, and man, I gotta tell ya, I was happy I did. I was apprehensive at first upon entering because I have a constant and pervasive fear of silver, and also they looked like they might be wrapping things up for the night, but the nice gentleman behind the counter greeted me warmly and asked how I could be helped.
I ordered 2 sausage slices and 1 cheese to go. The cheese slice was well-seasoned, fragrant, and rich in flavor, as well as the sausage slices, which were aromatic and exploding with a luscious melody of a meat and herb blend. But what really brought it all together into a synergy of flavor was the sweet and savory pizza sauce and cracker thin dough, which was borderline crunchy but with a chewy firmness and also rigid enough to retain its form without drooping or sagging beneath its own weight when picked up deftly with 2 fingers by the crust. Excellent slices! I will definitely be back again, and I'll start making it a habit to carry cash with me next time, as that seems to be the preferred method of payment. Thank you for the good service and awesome slices!
Seriously, folks, their pizza's are awesome, and you should definitely either stop by or call in and give them a try. Do it. Try it out.
Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza, cheese fries, and garlic bread. And they might have salads.
Dietary restrictions: Didn't notice any gluten-free options. Might wanna phone ahead in regards to any food allergens. Probably not Halal or Kosher.
Parking: You can find parking in the residential area in proximity to Lonnie's or street parking on Irving, if available. I couldn't find any parking on Irving, so I parked about a block down in the neighborhood and did a bit of roadwork to get to the shop and back to my truck. It's all happenstance and luck of the draw if you find a spot on Irving close enough to Lonnie's. There's also like a driveway just off to the left of the shop that can accommodate a couple of vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: Kid's love pizza.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is no automatic door, but it is wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through.
