Ordering food from this establishment is like tossing a coin, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's very bad, My most recent order was absolutely horrible, the food seemed to be reprocessed from the day before and the gravy was watery and tasteless. I did call to complain a few days later and the manager indicated that I should have called the same day and there was nothing that she could do. Be aware! not that I wanted anything done I just wanted the food to be on a much better scale than what it was when it was served to me once again it was horrible!

I've been to this place before once, and the food seem pretty good this past time very bland. I ordered beef and broccoli. It was just lacking flavor and taste. I was going to order foo, young, or sweet-and-sour chicken I wish I would have. The service was quick, and I picked up food

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when my father took me. Very good food, probably the best in the north side. I highly recommend their pot stickers and beef fried rice.

They're fine for what they are which is a city version of a strip mall Chinese restaurant. It's not particularly inexpensive unless you get a lunch or dinner combo. That's their strength. Otherwise they sometimes close a little early if it's slow. They're not very friendly though not rude. And the quality and timeliness is very inconsistent. My advice, go well before closing and get a combo. If you need more than 3 packets of sauce total, ask them or you won't get it. And they never include hot mustard sauce if you like it, which I do. It's average but not bad.

Ordered the chicken, broccoli, and onion, and the shrimp and onion curry. Chicken was not very good. The shrimp dish was LITERALLY mostly onions in curry sauce and not much shrimp. The flavors of both were Not Good at All! I tried this place to see what other Chinese food places were good in my area. This is not one of them. Will continue to go to Shanghai Inn. They have the best by FAR. Sorry Lo's China Kitchen, I did at least try.
