Wow what an experience, we was visiting from the UK and had to see the famous bar, instantly we was welcome. Food was amazing, the bartenders was so lovely and even let my son go behind the bar for a photo.

The arepas are freshly made in the kitchen by the Venezuelan cook and they are to die for! So fresh and delicious my family and I were very impressed. Service was excellent too. We accidentally left our credit card behind and the bartender came running outside to make sure we got it back. Will be returning soon for more arepas!

Following in the footsteps of the Chicago Fire series, we stopped at Lottie's. A small pub with a lovely atmosphere, which immerses you in the atmosphere of Molly's. A great place to support your sports team. Very welcoming and excellent attentive service. The chicken wings are to die for! For Chicago Fire fans, you can pick up ($) a small souvenir from the series before leaving.

I’m leaving a one star simply for my disdain for the late night security staff here. This used to be my favorite bar.
I was a regular here for a long time and was kicked out of the bar last night for hitting a vape that I thought was nicotine, they did not kick the guy who gave me the vape and was blowing clouds at the bar. Then pestered me outside, the service staff is awesome and it’s a shame that the security here is quite honestly a joke and rude. Will not return.
Was I being stupid? Yes. Did they handle it terribly? Yes
This is not even close to my first bad experience with the security here being extremely rude for asking a question, being physical for no reason, etc…
As another review mentioned, another girl reported being pushed down the stairs by late night security. I have literally witnessed this happen to people.
As another pointed out, they will pester you for standing on the sidewalk. After kicking me out, they would not even help me get my house keys from my brother who was inside. I had no where to go and was simply trying to get my keys so I could go home and was being told to leave or wait somewhere else until the bar closed.
I’ve never felt so poorly treated by security than experiences at Lottie’s and it’s truly not worth putting up with for a neighborhood bar, some of the guys are great but others are just power tripping and acting like they are working the trendiest club in Chicago.

Do not go for the game. Came for Bears game and Bears specials. Music was blasting, no football audio. There were tables of people in Bears jerseys, arms crossed, trying to focus on non audio game. We walked out, along with the 2 parties of 6 in front of us.
