I want to give a higher rating but our visit had some snags. The bar was having trouble keeping up with orders, service was rather slow once we were seated even though it was 9:30pm, and I found a mosquito in my salad. In terms of food, I found the deep dish pizza to be fine but not really my thing (yes I'm a New Yorker and didn’t try the thin crust pizza, so take it as you will). Food was pretty good. I got the Lou which had a lot of vegetables with it. The only reason for the 4 is because the veg was extremely watery, causing a sogginess to the pizza. Making the leftovers a bit mushy. If you eat it in one sitting, not an issue. Still highly recommend.
Had the gluten free The Lou deep dish. Filling was good but the crust was a little hard. Could be that all deep dishes are like this as this is my first time trying it. Service was good though (Louis). Though the restaurant was full, he was attentive and thorough. Had to wait 45mins for a table, and 30mins for the pizza, so be prepared
