When you visit Chicago, you have to eat deep dish pizza. Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is definitely a good place for that. We were here at the end of October and had to wait 20 minutes even at 5 a.m. But that was also because the restaurant was only used half-time in the offseason. Once we were at the table everything was perfect. The service was very friendly and quick. It should be clear to everyone that you generally have to wait longer for a deep dish pizza. It just takes longer in the oven. The bruschetta that we had to bridge the waiting time was very tasty. We had 2 types of Depp Dish. Both tasted good. I will always prioritize a traditional Italian pizza. We also really enjoyed the deep dish pizza here at Lou Malnati's.

Had to try the deep dish pizza. We heard this was the better place. The service was good but the deep dish wasn't our favorite. We thought the crust was good but the sauce and the sausage and tomatoes weren't as good as Giordano's.

We've been here multiple times, and it has always been great. We were told 45 minute wait. It was well worth it. The atmosphere is one of a kind. The food doesn't disappoint at all. Our server Justin was outstanding. We had a regular order and a to go order, and our server timed it perfect. We will definitely be back soon

I found the waiting time a bit exaggerated both to eat there and to take away and no matter how much they are in a hurry, they don't have to throw the dishes on the table.

Please don’t. Bartender was rude and when I told the manager he was dismissive. Simple lapse in communication and no I wasn’t looking for free anything just polite service

What a disappointment. We swung by before 10pm with high hopes of the famous Chicago deep dish pizza. We were met with nasty attitudes after we waited nearly an hour for our pizza. What was unfortunate was that three parties that sat after we ordered got their food before, and when we inquired about our food politely we were met with eye rolls and excuses about it typically taking 45 min. We would understand if we saw the place was super busy but (1) there really were not many people (2) how 12 people can people who ordered after us get their food before us? Just for the pizza to be mid - tasted unseasoned and the crust seemed uncooked

I had the deep pizza before and decided to try something different from the menu and the lasagna was so so and my wife said her beef sandwich was a little tough. I'll make sure I'll keep to the tried and true pizza

It’s been many years (probably 12) since I’ve been to a Lou Malnati’s, but over those past many years, I’ve been ordering it frozen to enjoy at home, since we don’t have this pizza chain in VA. But coming to Chicago I looked forward to going back and the food definitely didn’t disappoint!

Service definitely lacked luster though, they had the attitude that they’re providing the best deep dish pizza, so you need to put up with them. Pizza also takes about 45 mins to make and be served. In the meantime, we ordered a salad and it was quite nasty, with bagged lettuce (at least it tasted that way), which wasn’t very fresh. But when the pizza came out, it was game on and that pizza was amazing! Get it with extra tomatoes, it tastes even better that way!!

The wait to seat was long, and the food was long. The food was disappointing. The Cesar salad was great but the pizza was blah
