I’m not usually one to write a negative review but I was incredibly disappointed with my experience here. My boyfriend had reserved a table for us here more than a week in advance, our reservation was cancelled on the restaurants end day of with no notification. We showed up on time and saw a line out the door. After waiting in the line for 10/15 minutes, we were told they “weren’t doing reservations” after showing our confirmation email with absolutely no remorse or apology. We were told the wait was over an hour and knew there was no chance we’d be able to sit and eat anywhere else because of the holiday. We then put our names down, waited over an hour and after not receiving a text, we went to the front desk asking if it was our turn yet. Only after asking were we seated. I have worked in hospitality(including holidays) for years but the lack of remorse or accountability from the staff absolutely blew my mind. If you’re not taking reservations, you shouldn’t be able to reserve open tables and if it was a mistake, you call and let your customers know. Really disappointed and definitely put a damper on our holiday considering we had been looking forward to eating here for so long.

We ordered a seafood boiled with crab and shrimp and its the best seafood boil I've ever had. We did the garlic sauce with low heat but could have cranked the heat up a notch. Very yummy and and highly recommend!!

Got the Payday sea boil, was too salty for my liking and didn’t have much flavor. “Everytang” was just salty. The corn was good and the potatoes but the rest like shrimp and crab at best a 4 no much meat either. Not worth spending 150 for two people

Weak service . Nastyfood some weird fluff in sauce. Bartender had a bad attitude. Food had no flavor but was dripping in some nasty sauce. Would not recommend. But that cornbread was sensational

Garish and uncouth. Two extras stars because the music was fun; it was Elvis night when I dined

If I could give them -10 stars, I would. I went here Sunday, Jan. 26 bc of a false advertisement that I’d been seeing while scrolling Facebook. They said they didn’t have the special (1 snow crab cluster and 1/2lb shrimp for $28.99) but they had another special for $38.99 ( 1 snow crab cluster, 1/2lb shrimp and a lobster tail)… we ordered 2… proceeded to go to the bar for happy hour drinks (also advertised); bartender said the special was only for 3 drinks… I got one of the 3 and it tasted like juice… sat down to wait for the food and noticed how we never warmed up yet. Asked the waitress if they could turn on the heat, she apologized and said that the heat was out. The weather was -10 outside. Our food came, and was cold like the temperature. Overall experience was terrible. My first and last time. I won’t be back.

Solid seafood in a bag place. Crawfish were tasty, mussels were big and juicy and the green beans were an excellent add on. Shrimps were tasty as well.

They have a counter style and a full service style. Full bar with Happy Hour specials

I don’t know why this shop has such a good rating. We visited this place and ordered 2 combo 5 with their signature sauce. It supposed to come with 2 lbs of shrimp but I a pretty sure we got less than that. The shrimps used are also the small frozen headless shrimp in brine not even the flesh freeze one that you can get from Costco. Also it almost all self serve yet you still have to tip them.

I love this downtown location. It's always clean, quick service, great portions for the cost, well seasoned and balanced food ( not overly salty or over seasoned), and just a great atmosphere. My only concerns are that it is often cold in the establishment ( this could be because of the loftstyle ceiling or the location of the building), I'm not sure. In addition, I believe it is unnecessarily dark in the hallway leading to the bathrooms and the women's bathroom. Women need to be able to see what is going on in that space for hygiene and sanitation purposes. I couldn't see anything in the stall because it was so dark. It might have been a great concept originally, but it doesn't make sense with the rest of the restaurant being well lit. Plus, I would want to know the stalls and bathrooms are being cleaned appropriately. It's pitch black in there. Those ceiling lights do not provide enough light to see when you are in the stall. It's brightest by the sink, which makes no sense.

The flavor of the food has gone down. Low Country up North is better.

The food is good but the service leaves much to be desired, especially the bar staff.
