Old school family run Italian restaurant. Excellent food, good prices and it’s BYOB! We came on a busy night and the main dining room was full. However, the staff quickly set up a table for our party in the deli seating. It felt like private dining. It was perfect. Can’t wait to return!
Vibe, service is great, byob is great but food is kinda mid. Was looking for italian place that serves risotto and honestly it was quite difficult to find a spot in Chicago that serves one.
It requires a long time to cook and constant care, so I understand, but the taste wasn't quite there. Calamari was also a bit underwhelming.
I find fascinating at the price of calamari these days, any restaurant you go, this appetizer is well over $15. Its crazy. And...

Little deli with the best cannoli I had ever had the pleasure of eating. I think they must have put the stack of cannolis within an hour of me getting one. Incredibly crispy outside and the inside was divine (I also got Sam's sandwich and it was delish)
