I went to Lucky's Cafe with my daughter for lunch. I had the j*** chicken pasta and my daughter had Shrimp and Grits. The food was excellent very tasty seasoned well. We sat outside and just took in the surrounding. Wonderful, Peaceful just relaxing. I highly recommend Lucky's cafe. There is one thing you do have to park on the street which is metered. It is worth the trip !??
I came in off of my coworkers rave reviews. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed at all. I ordered the Caesar chicken wrap, more lettuce than anything, wrap was over toasted, and chicken was okay inside but I tossed the wrap. I also ordered peach cobbler egg rolls, soggy and the egg roll wrap super chewy I couldn't enjoy it for the chewy wrap.. Finally I bought the j*** pasta for my son... let's just say it's sitting in the microwave.. Now I know everyone has different taste buds, however none of this did anything to make me want to come again and almost spending 40 bucks..
Very lazy staff, never wishes or reply with lot of attitude
This keeps getting better. My second time here! J*** Chicken baked potato!
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to with the best philly cheese steak in Chicago!
Luckeys is my first stop on my Black owned restaurant journey in Chicago. It was a great first stop! Cozy little cafe with a LOADED menu. I got the Wednesday special of grilled chicken, shrimp, broccoli, and cheese in a baked potato. It's called a loaded spud. They ran out of baked potato and instead gave me loaded fries. It was a HIT. And Luckey gave me a refund for the wait and not being able to complete my original order. I can't wait to go back! Love my people. 5/5 service, taste of the food, presentation of the food, location, and overall experience ❤??
I have been wanting to try Luckey's cafe for a while now, and finally made it in for the shrimp and grits, OMG!! it was soooo good. Haven't had any thatgood since New Orleans. You gotta go get some!!
She was so friendly and kind smiling and welcoming I ordered for my directors b day and everything was excellent especially the Greek lasagna and veggie lasagna ??sandwich and wraps were big and filling taste great ?I recommend this place 10 thumbs up
Chef Luckey goes above & beyond to insure she’s giving the best that she has to give. From her energy to the food she exceeded my expectations
At first I stopped in for something to drink. The owner was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I had a strawberry lemonade and it had a perfect balance of sweet and tart. It was refreshing.I came back shortly after to order food. I had the Greek chicken wrap. I could taste that the ingredients are high quality and fresh. I also had the amazing peach cobbler that just came out of the oven. I will be back. Please support local small businesses!

My fiancé and I attended the Valentine’s Day sip and paint last night. When I say the food was outstanding if I could have gave more stars I would . Chef Luckey was an awesome host and her cooking is inspiring. And y’all need to go book the Queen of Art Berashet Ham- Hughes for your paint parties you can plan a event at your home all that! All around I had a great experience and will be back on a Saturday for some soul food ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
