I went to Lucky's Cafe with my daughter for lunch. I had the j*** chicken pasta and my daughter had Shrimp and Grits. The food was excellent very tasty seasoned well. We sat outside and just took in the surrounding. Wonderful, Peaceful just relaxing. I highly recommend Lucky's cafe. There is one thing you do have to park on the street which is metered. It is worth the trip !??
Luckeys is my first stop on my Black owned restaurant journey in Chicago. It was a great first stop! Cozy little cafe with a LOADED menu. I got the Wednesday special of grilled chicken, shrimp, broccoli, and cheese in a baked potato. It's called a loaded spud. They ran out of baked potato and instead gave me loaded fries. It was a HIT. And Luckey gave me a refund for the wait and not being able to complete my original order. I can't wait to go back! Love my people. 5/5...
I have been wanting to try Luckey's cafe for a while now, and finally made it in for the shrimp and grits, OMG!! it was soooo good. Haven't had any thatgood since New Orleans. You gotta go get some!!
