Twenty years! Place is still great, especially before a Cubbies game! Their sammich, modeled after the famous Primati Bros in Steel Town, does not disappoint.

Fresh-cut, skin-on fries, well-balanced coleslaw and big tomato slices compliment any meat and cheese combo...right on the sammich. My favourite is the two-bagger Corned Beef and Pastrami.

Several local micro brews are always on tap and they have excellent wings to boot. Still getting used to the relocated bartop, but on nice days the front windows are wide open.

Adam Richman made his famous Man v. Food show there once, snarfing tree of deez
sammiches inna half hour. Historic Chicago pics troo-out da place, especially of da Cubbies and grand old Northside ballyard, Wrigley Field.

Will definately be back on game days when my NU Wildcats are at Wrigley twice in Nov. Plus an extra special treat for the Blackhawks NYE in the Winter Classic. There's even two collegiate double-header hockey games early Jan. So five more excuses to make the trek to Lucky's on game day!

I can unfortunately only give 3 stars for this visit. I walked in less than 15min after 10pm to be told that the bar was still open but the kitchen was closed. I was sooooooo looking forward to a turkey grinder/dagwood.

When I lived in Chicago I used to eat here all the time, so coming back home I was stoked to eat at Lucky’s.
I recently attempted to visit but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Their website, google and signage indicated they were open, but when I arrived during their listed hours, the place was closed.

This lack of accuracy in their operating hours was frustrating and inconvenient. I had driven 45 minutes out of my way to get there, only to find the doors locked and no sign of activity. Also, the fact that the website hours list “sometimes” doesn’t make any sense.

I’ve eaten at lucky’s in the past and have loved those experiences, but tried to go today (a Tuesday when the cubs were at home) at 3pm and the door was locked when every site said they were open at 11am. If you’re not open, put the correct times on google and on your website

Lauren was very nice, and quick to provide drinks when needed. The Two Bagger is a great sandwich, but big enough to share. I honestly preferred it without bread, but needed a little more slaw. Left very full, and was very worth the stop!!

All the bathrooms are 1. Gender neutral 2. Smell like fabulouso 3. Hella clean. That alone is reason to hang here. Meanwhile, they’ve got darts and a low key vibe. The food looks amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Great sandwiches. I ordered the capicola and cheese which comes with the meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar coleslaw and french fries all on the sandwich. Very attentive and friendly service.
