Had the beef with hot peppers and au jus. Decent. Nothing special. Cheese is extra. I am a bigger fan of giardiniera. Thought that was what I was getting by ordering hot peppers. Nah. Not so much. No biggie. Fries were decent. Chicago style dog tasted like it'd been sitting for a bit. Received my food quickly and everyone was nice. The dining area needs a revamping.

I must be missing something. Went here due to the reviews online. Between 3 of us, we all ordered Italian beef sandwiches and we shared a fry. Italian beef was disappointing. I felt like the beef was dry and this was even after pouring some au jus on top. I also felt like it was lacking overall flavor. When I buy the frozen shaved beef from Costco and put my own spin on it, it is waaaay better than this. Also, the fries were cold. They were not busy as there were maybe 4-5 other people there with us.

My first time in, I hope it ain't my last. I gorged. This was my first experience with a hot Italian beef sandwich. I also ordered a Chicago dog and fries. Everything was really good. Nice staff, cool atmosphere, great food. It was an iconic first time in Chicago, thanks to Luke's for helping me grab some good grub.

The beef is perfectly dipped, giving it an incredibly rich, juicy texture that stands out from the first bite to the last. Even with its prime location, the service was quick, there was almost no waiting time, and seating was readily available. Everything came together to create a truly enjoyable and memorable visit.

Today was my first time trying this place,, I bought myself an Italian beef and sausage the combo and a calzone.. Estaban bien chingones they were both delicious. 😋

I liked it. It served its purpose. Had a Italian Beef, with Frenchfries. No complaints, really. Fast service. Very messy around garbage bin. Would return.
