First time to Chicago and first time having an Italian beef sandwich, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, first impressions were great. Service was fast and the sandwich tasted great. Not sure when I'm going back to the city, but if I do, I will make sure to stop in again.

I am writing to express my disappointment following a dining experience at your Chicago location at 215 W Jackson Blvd yesterday 11/18/2025.
I ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich, and unfortunately, it was far below expectations. Specifically, the bread was noticeably dry, and the sandwich contained very little Italian beef and / or Giardiniera
I chose your restaurant based on strong reviews and recommendations that claimed Luke's was among the best in the area. Given the lackluster quality of my meal, I have concerns about the accuracy of those high marks.
I am hopeful that you will consider addressing this unsatisfactory dining experience.

My brother and I were in Chicago for a catering event for our business, Don Cannoli Catering. We were doing some site seeing and decided to stop by for a quick sandwich. We both got the Italian beef…and my God…best Italian beef sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life! 10/10 recommend you try it! Will def be back next time I’m in Chicago!

Me and hubby checked this place out since it was walking distance from our hotel. It was awesome!I had the burger and hubby had the Italian beef sandwich.
Probably the best Italian Beef you can get in downtown. They do it dipped so it’s nice and juicy.
Considering the location, I experienced nearly no wait and was able to find a place to sit down easily.

On my one and only trip to Chicago, I went to raising canes, 2 pizza places, and Luke’s. Luke’s is the one I always think about! The sandwich was so delicious and the atmosphere was so unreal to me, a country boy from rural Alabama. Nestled in the middle of downtown, I rode the “EL” train to get there, walked down the stairs from the platform and dug in. So good! So cool! I can’t wait to go back one of these days.

Best Italian beef in Chicago. Located right near the Willis Tower and other popular tourist locations so it is extremely convenient and definitely worth stopping here. During lunch, the lion can be out the door but they are quick and the weight was not that long. I got a dipped Italian beef sandwich and it was a lot of food. It was extremely messy but it was very flavorful and completely worth the mess. And the fries are also extremely crispy and flavorful as well.
