It you like soggy buns and shaved beef this will hit all the check marks. The Sammie was tasty but I think I'd get it dry with the au jus on the side so I can control the soggy factor.

First time to Chicago and first time having an Italian beef sandwich, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, first impressions were great. Service was fast and the sandwich tasted great. Not sure when I'm going back to the city, but if I do, I will make sure to stop in again.

Luke’s Italian Beef hits hard. The sandwich is stacked, juicy, and soaked just right, messy in the best way. Bread holds up, beef’s legit, peppers add the kick. Fries are solid, service is quick, and the price doesn’t make you flinch. No frills, no hype. Just real Chicago flavor done right.
