This place is a the most overrated breakfast place in the world. I think my comment would be deleted in the future but if you plan to consider it as a tourist, do not go there especially if they told you to wait for a long time. They had some special treatments for other people and this was unprofessional and rude.

I uses to love this place, came several times and even on my birthday. This last time they treated us HORRIBLY.
I have no problem waiting for a table to be ready but the hostess was straight up mean. The hostess (I think her name was Jasmin) looked annoyed when we asked for a table, and she didn’t even want to answer basic questions like how long the wait was. The other waiters were also not compensating for the mean and snarky looks. After waiting for 50 minutes our waiter just threw the menus on the table and left.
I’ve never complained about service but I went with my hispanic family and they felt very strange about how we treated.
I dont think I could ever come back.

A very creative and playful menu that delivered fully on taste and presentation. The pancake on the side was by far the best I’ve ever had. You don’t want to miss this gem of a restaurant in Logan Square.

The servers are incredibly accommodating—my partner is vegan, and our server went out of their way to highlight all his options. They even personalized menus for my two friends’ birthdays, making the experience extra special!

This is my absolute favorite place in Chicago. I was a customer when they opened (the first month they opened) and I go back every time I visit Chicago and I love that the service and the quality stayed the same over time. It’s a place that feels amazing without making someone feel that there is an extra effort in making it be that. I love the food and I love the drinks. One of the best espresso martinis I have had (and I drink a lot of those…)

We love food and were very disappointed by our experience here. The food was bland or poorly seasoned. We ordered a lot of food and our waiter assured us he would course it out appropriately. He then delivered 5 dishes all at once! I asked the waiter to slow them down and he was very rude about it. We read many glowing reviews online, but it is not worth the trip from downtown!
