We chose DG's since it was in the ideal location, close to Temple Meads and our accommodation. The staff was kind and friendly from the moment we arrived. Both my starter, the Green Shell Mussels in Cream, and my main course, the Papa Giuseppe pizza, were incredibly flavorful. The salmon that my wife selected from the specials board was delicious. Overpriced. Waiter was so full of himself I found myself asking the bus service for help. Food was so generic that even the cutesty names couldn't mask the basic recipes used. Not my jam.
Great spot for weeknight dinner! We started with the sweet and sour onion focaccia which was both thick and light. We split the pasta yiayia and the roast chicken, both were delicious and the flavors worked well together. Service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming.
