Not only is the food delicious, the staff are outright hilarious. Chatting with everyone in line, heckling the serious ones, authentic Chicago feel. Really good deals on really good food. Definitely my new go to stop when I’m in town.

Lulu’s Dogs is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Joe is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing jumbo turkey leg. Must come back. 10/10.

Lulu’s Hot Dogs is a hidden gem in University Village. I swung by for lunch and grabbed the 2 Hot Dog Special with fries and a drink. The dogs were loaded with all the classic Chicago toppings—mustard, relish, onions, pickles, tomatoes, sport peppers, and a sprinkle of celery salt. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The staff was friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. If you're in the area, this spot is a must-visit for authentic Chicago-style dogs.
