Food delicious, service outstanding, environment cute and clean. The food took 12 minutes which is my main issue because it felt forever with it being not during a busy time. Value was good but I’d suggest a happy hour pricing during the slow time. Loved loved the sandwich and the size. Just should hopefully take less than 9 minutes and hopefully like 7 minutes on a separate occasion.

You know the pictures / videos of the sandwiches we see in advertisements from all the establishments? This looks and tastes like that. Nuff said. Extremely good. Get it

Amazing place. I got the butt kickin chicken and it was incredible. The chicken salad was amazing and the bread was outstanding. The service was even better, the owner was there and the vibe was so good. Even better is that it’s a woman owned business supporting donating to free lunch for kids. Can’t say enough good things about this place, the food and the people. Thank you!

Claire and Sam go above and beyond!! It was my birthday and they write my name on my bag with cute heroic notes. Super creative, down-to-earth owners. Can’t wait to continue going here. Excellent communication. Love supporting local and they donate food to others in need. What’s not to like 🥹

Dutch crunch bread has made its arrival to Chicago! I met Claire, the owner, whose passion for sandwiches and bread truly shines—her loaves strike the perfect balance with a crisp crust and airy bite. We shared the Gobbler, a light yet satisfying turkey sandwich, and the 12-inch easily fed two. Can’t wait to come back and try more from this gem of a shop!

One of the best sandwich shops I’ve ever been to, full stop. Amazing service, super clean, fresh ingredients, great value, and on top of that, supporting a great cause.

I got real lucky when I walked in- they just pulled out a fresh batch of bread! I got the tuna salad one and it was very tasty 😋

It was on the pricy side but for a fresh sandwich with lots of fillings? I don’t mind paying extra. And even though I got a regular sized one, it was more than plenty.

Also the people there were very friendly and welcoming. I definitely appreciate that too.

Has a super amazing experience here. I’ll get to the point. The sandwiches are straight gassssss. They’re so tasty. The 6inch sounds small at first but man it’s thick and packed with super fresh ingredients. Both FOH workers were super nice and friendly even though it was my first time. The mamma Mia was very yummy and had a good depth of flavor. Also their pickles are massive. No joke lol.

I ordered the Mamma Mia sandwich with capicola, salami, turkey, lettuce, Pickles, Pepper jack, Mozzarella cheese, Italian dressing, and balsamic glaze. The sandwich was one of the best tasting and best presented sandwiches I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Lunch heroes does not skimp out on the ingredients. The sandwich was huge and it was only like $13 for the 6 inch sandwich. The bread was crispy and fresh, and all the other ingredients tasted just as fresh. If I could eat Lunch Heroes sandwiches every day I would. The atmosphere at the restaurant was 5/5, and employees were super nice.

It’s just okay… nothing to brag about. I think it’s too overpriced for a sandwich shop even being in Lincoln Park. I did not like the Dutch Crunch bread in general . I might be biased because Italian. Not worth the price. If you want a good sandwich in the city go to Fontanos. I probably would have been better off across the street at Potbelly’s.
