I'm glad they came back I really am I ordered chicken masala compared to what it used to be and need some some seasoning other than that the place looks great I'm glad you're back I know they have to get some kinks out but I'm sure it's going to be a great place to eat once again

With the new ownership, the food has decline in terms of the portions and finding undesirable items (i.e bones and cartilage). I used to love this place with the previous owners. Would recommend another place if you can.

We had been out all day and wanted a quick bite before heading home. We were at Jarvis Sq. tavern and decided to try New Luzzat. The potato samosas were good but the chicken biryani was fantastic. Rice was tasty with lots of whole chicken pieces. Enough that we may have leftovers. Will definitely pickup from here again.

I have come here a few times now and have always loved my experience! I order the chicken vindaloo with a garlic naan and the flavor, heat, everything is amazing. This is my favorite local Indian food restaurant, and it’s really nice to have such a great quality place in Jarvis Square.Once we came with 8 people and the service was outstanding. Some of our party had never had Indian food before but loved what they had so much that now they want more. Can’t say enough good things about the New Luzzat.The atmosphere is laid back and quiet, which is great for a nice relaxing dinner out, and again I’ve personally have never had an issue with the service. If you are curious, give this place a try! They conveniently have dine-in and take out options and I feel are reasonably priced as well.

Moved out here recently and was craving Indian food. I got what was probably one of the best Biryanis I’ve ever had. And the portions were HUGE! Great value for your money, great taste, and a nice cozy feel inside. Would definitely recommend.

Just got the aloo matar paneer and butter naan. Couldn’t be happier with the food and service. Fantastic flavor, the naan had a nice glutenous chew to it, and the aloo matar paneer was perfectly seasoned. Just the right amount of spice. I’ll be back.

Recently I visited here and I found the best combination of Indian and pakistani food and the ambience is delightful and aesthetic, especially thier lamb mandi and chicken biryani was the best , but for lamb mandi you need to place the order one day before.
I miss the old Luzzat. Sure, the service was bad and the dishes were dirty but the food was amazing. Now, the service is bad the dishes are still dirty and the food is so-so.
