Lynn is a one man show. I have so much respect for him as he is running the restaurant on his own. While this may contribute to a slightly longer wait time for meal prep and completion, it was 100% WORTH THE WAIT. Insanely good pizza and wings. The best wings I’ve had in Chicago, actually. Give this small business owner a chance.

10/24/25 First time customer review. 5:30pm I ordered online a thin crust cheese and italian chicken sausage pizza. It gave me an estimated ready of 55 minutes. I drove from the west side to the south side and still arrived early. I sst in my car and waited until 6:25 before going in. Once in the restaurant I learned that there system went down for a few minutes and they were trying to ensure they had all the orders. I could smell any pizza cooking which concerned me. They were playing a movie from a projector and it was entirely too loud. There are only a few tables to dine in. I was told that they were having a bingo night at 7pm and was welcome to stay. I didn't get my pizza until 6:45pm. As for the pizza, it was not the best for me and my family. I looooovvveee garlic but that was all that was to it. The sauce had no depth. I could not taste any other seasonings in it. It was too much sauce on it that the cheese was sliding off of it and I felt that I was simply eating sauce. The italian chicken sausage was lacking. I literally feel like it was 1 piece of meat per slice. There was so little on it. The crust was okay. I would love a slightly crisper crust but again it would have been okay if the flavor of the pizza was better. Service was great for me. They apologized for the delay and kept me informed. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant but would suggest turning down the volume of playing movies a tad. I will come back to try the wings that looked amazing but not the pizza. Other patrons that I spoke with while waiting also complained about the long wait time to get your order.

The customer service here is bad. I was warned beforehand and through the reviews but wanted to give a black owned establishment a chance. Got there with my guest. No one said a word. The “waitress” walked right past us. There was a lady folding pizza boxes who kept glancing at us but saying nothing. Finally, I said “are we supposed to seat ourselves?” Then the waitress says, “yeah you can sit anywhere.” So we sat. The waitress never came. The other woman continued folding pizza boxes. We waited a little longer then left. No, they were not very busy. No, there was no long line. This is the third time I had an issue with their customer service, with this being the first time I actually went inside the establishment. They need training. I will not be back but I wish them success.

I just walked back home from the establishment. I went up there to order pizza for my daughter's Friday treat. No one at the front counter. There were men working back and forth. No one greeted me. No one said they would be right with me. No kind of acknowledgement. I walked back out after ten minutes. I'll just order from Pizza Hut or some other chain restaurant.

This is definitely a spot to be for great pizza. The Dorchester pizza was absolutely fantastic. The chicken wings was phenomenal. In The jerk egg rolls was some of the best I've had. Customer service was okay.. more attention to detail should be given but for most part the experience was great.

This was the first time I, along with my party visited this place. We were very disappointed. There were two other groups of people who pre-ordered online and had also paid for their orders just to get to the restaurant and be told they ran out of sauce for the pizza along with other food items. Of course we had to turn around because there was nothing for us to order. Mind you, it was still early evening. 😳
Soooo, from this you now know why I couldn't possibly leave a better rating or review. I can hardly wait to tell the person who actually referred us to this place. Two thumbs down! 👎🏾👎🏾

Pizza is really good, but service could use some work. We've ordered from them three times and each time there's been a mess up with the order and really long waits after designated pickup time. I recommend ordering an hour or so before you actually need your pizza lol

My flight was leaving later in the evening, and I wanted a pizza that was worth talking about — and maybe even taking home! I love supporting local businesses with great reviews, and that’s how I found Lynn’s Chicago Pizza.

I couldn’t make it to the physical location, so I ordered through UberEats to my hotel — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I ordered the Dorchester Deep Dish, and it arrived perfectly packaged, securely sealed, and most importantly, still piping hot. The wait time was reasonable, and you could tell the quality and care that went into making this pizza.

Every ingredient was fresh and layered to perfection. The chicken sausage, in particular, was something special! I’ve been to the more “popular” pizza spots downtown, but honestly, none of them come close to Lynn’s the flavor is top notch within every layer.

I even took the rest of my pizza home on my short flight, and my family didn’t leave a single crumb! Small businesses like this deserve their flowers, so I called to share my feedback. The owner, Brandon, was genuinely appreciative — and it was clear he takes pride in every pizza that leaves his kitchen.

I can’t wait to visit the actual location on my next trip to Chicago and try more items on the menu. Don’t second-guess this place — it’s absolutely worth the hype! 🍕🔥

I had the worst experience and no follow-up or response to the feedback given in person and calling. The service was extremely slow, staff was unprofessional and clueless every time a question was asked, food quality poor and taste wasn't as expected, the owner lacked urgency and just starred when giving feedback. I think those other reviews are staged. Close to 2 hours waiting for a pizza.

I ordered a pizza and the crust was not cooked good. I had to put back in the oven to get a better crust. I guess I ordered close to closing and I also ordered wings and paid for extra ranch which I didn't get they had some mild sauce with it
