This place is lowkey one of the best bakeries in Chicago. I was caught very off guard how good everything was! Totally stop in if you're in the neighborhood or going to Crafty Beaver across the street!

The best baklava I have ever had. Top layer perfectly, ever so slightly crispy, the rest of the layers like a cloud of perfection, melt in your mouth perfection! Perfectly sweet, not a milligram over or under. The BEST! Lamb roast: OH MY GOD! The best in Chicago, or as my good friend would say “the best this side of Atlantic “. Perfectly seasoned, perfect level of fat, imagine the finest filigree of heavenly fat complimenting the most flavorful meat of all -the glorious lamb!...

I've visited regularly, they have a really good Burek here (cheese or meat), it's really authentic and similar to the ones I had in Bosnia and Serbia. Prices and very reasonable, sweets are good too.
