On 9/10/24, we were watching the debate and enjoying the evening. When I requested the check, the bartender brought it to me and whispered, "There is an 18% gratuity, but feel free to give more." There were no signs indicating an 18% gratuity, and the bartender and owner failed to be upfront and share this information before we ordered drinks.

Had a great time until the rent-a-cop showed up. Happy hour from 7-9, great vibes. Had to take a phone call and needed to step out because of the music. Now, knowing some chicago lounges/clubs/bars don't allow re-entry, I asked would it be a problem to step out. He said it was cool. Upon returning, the same so called security decided to card me before re-entry. I complied but he was hesitant to allow me back in. Mind you, I hadn't paid my bill yet. Then wanted to argue with my friend when she came to see what was the hold up.
Just like everyone cant be a cop, everyone cant work security. And if he was a cop, do better. It's a reason why the nightlife in Chicago is dead. He's part of the reason.

I love that this place is 35 and up!! Yes!! Finally something for us, the music (live dj) did his thing!! The Pear Martini's were fabulous. The crowd was all friendly with good vibes. I will be back

First time there and I loved it. The Dj was amazing. The crowd was mature and the drinks were delicious. I'll frequent here from time to time.
Great music, attentive bartenders, reasonably priced cocktails, specials, and a generous assortment of non alcoholic drinks--this place has it all.After a couple of brown liquor drinks, I wasn't ready to go so the friendly bartender whipped me up a mocktail with a zero proof champagne base and I'll say this: no drinks here miss their marks.I will absolutely visit again when I'm back in Chicago.

I heard you can bring your own food. But not sure so I left the food rating blank. But other than that this place was well kept nice but simple decore. Restrooms were clean. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The DJ was great and attentive. He played a variety of older music catering to the mostly older crowd. But still manage to take request.This is one of the best places in the south loop to unwind. I would definitely go again in the future.
