Best Mexican experience in Chicago. If you are looking to eat authentic food with a different touch such as 20-inch quesadillas (machetes), I recommend you 100%. The flavor is extraordinary, the seasonings are 100% homemade (I asked them about them). I loved. I will be back. Thank you
I've only had the mushroom quesadilla here (a few times), but it's so good! they give you several toppings. The Junior machete is perfect for 1 person. Service with a genuine smile! They even let me try a free sample of their new potato/green bean/turkey side -que rico! Haven't ate in but it's clean inside and there's several tables. Close 8pm though-a tad early?

As someone with gluten intolerance I also noted they wipe down their grill before they use it which is huge to me (this might differ if they are busy it was pretty quiet when I was there).
It‘s also definitely a Spanish speaker friendly restaurant but even if you only speak english you‘ll be fine the staff is patient and responsive.
