Great service and good food. Very easy to pick-up orders and call in orders. The ceviche is always good and I am partial to the Lomo Saltado. Both are delicious and the people who work here are also very friendly. Do recommend!

Ordered a lomo saltado from here and it was almost as amazing as it is in Peru! I also got a house salad with avocado and it was very good and fresh as well. I will definitely be ordering again.

Service isnt always the best but the food here is literally amazing!! Definitely recommend the Ceviche! The lunch special is crazy ridiculously cheap & it's the most food you can get for the price! Everything I have tried is delicious & everyone that I referred here loves it! Try it out! You won't be disappointed!!

Declicious fresh seafood. The mussels were some of the best I've had in Chicago. Wonderful ceviche They had an excellent tamale with meet and olives. Excellent service in a warm atmosphere. BYOB and on street parking.

Been here before for a friends birthday a few years back and the service was really really slow. We came back for his birthday again last night and I thought it's been a few years "maybe" they've changed this now so gave it another shot but, I guess it hasn't changed a bit. The service was still really slow. Our dinner reservations was at 7:00pm and we didn't leave the restaurant till almost 10 o'clock. The longest dinner I've ever been to, I just couldn't fathom how slow the services is, I ordered Chicken and Beef Empanadas for appetizer, it was good and I'm glad I got an appetizer considering I'll have to wait another hour for my entree. I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo, it was good I wasn't sure about the cilantro at first coz I'm not a huge fan but you can't really taste the cilantro so it was perfect for me. The rice was cooked properly and the chicken was well seasoned, the food is overall good but I didn't get to finish my meal and here's why..it's a BYOB restaurant so with a big group we all brought wine, considering the service was so slow obviously by the time you get your meal you're probably a little buzzed because of the amount of wine you drink. We didn't really get our meal till close to 9:30 which is ridiculous, the food is good and tasty but if the service is slow what's the point. Our server was very friendly and attentive we had a good service overall I just don't think that being at a 3 hour dinner isn't really worth it. I thought that by now they'd at least change some things but it seems like there's no improvement.

What started off a "one time visit" for my then GF(whom is now my wife) birthday outing about 11years ago; turned into regular visits for random nights out, or big occasions such as my surprise engagement party for my wife and I (yes, I proposed there) and her bridal shower. What kept us coming back?? Where do I begin?? First and foremost, the service is always awesome! For our engagement party, we had a party of 15, and Javier handled our with grace and all went perfectly! Everyone there is very attentive and VERY polite! The food is amazing! I recommend the Choros al la chalaca...(mussels) I never go and NOT order them for starters. Another best part is that it is BYOB. Pair that with great food, and great service, you cant help but return constantly! Javier and his brother run the restaurant, and do such an amazing job there! They are also very good people, seeing that we got to know Javier more and more over the years since we been going there for that long. Wont be disappointed

Recently went to this restaurant for dinner. The service was terribly slow and the food was just okey. We only saw our server 2 times through the whole dinner. The host ended up bringing us the check. They must have known we were annoyed because they gave us a cookie on the house. After being there 2 hours we did not care about a cookie and just wanted to leave.

Tried to go here for Valentine's Day dinner tonight. We had 7pm reservations, got there at 650..sat down at 710, didnt see a waiter, or any server for water or drinks until past 730pm...ordered food after being sat for nearly an hour, food came 30 minutes later...and we ate and left as fast as we could, as the live music was way too loud to talk, and service was nearly non existent. The wait staff apparently was one experienced waiter, assisted by several high school age busboys and a high school age maitre d. Definitely way understaffed, and not experienced. Whomever came up with the idea of live music, was an idiot. The single room for seating was already way too crowded to accommodate their crowd, but to dedicate seating in the restaurant to the live band, and dancing...was a stupid idea. I am normally a regular customer at Machu Picchu, but not after tonight. Poor service Forgetful staff Too loud music Poor seating arrangement The food was ok, once it got there...but I've better parrallada in taquerias around town. Machu Picchu needs to up their game.
