Waitress refused to give me my hortchata after she took 45 minutes! Then she slammed my plate on the table after serving me. She has a bad attitude!
The tamales are the worst, the attention of the ladies is still holding their hair in their mouths and that's how they serve you. The tamales look like they were from the day before and everything is already served as soon as it goes, zero quality and I gave a star to give my opinion but without a doubt not I don't even give them a
I IVA there when IVA Chicago now what's going on is a video that mixes meat, it's horrible, this is my favorite place in Chicago
We ordered a dozen tamales, but the price charged was higher than what was listed on the menu, which is definitely a bait and switch scam. The green tamales were so spicy they were almost inedible, though otherwise, the red tamales were pretty good. We also ordered a sope, but it was undercooked. The biggest issue was that no one in the restaurant spoke English, so I had to ask my mother to place the order. Not having English-speaking staff in a business serving English-speaking customers is a significant accessibility issue.

Payed $20 and some change for just 2 things to eat which was a Gordita(meat) and a quesadilla(meat) & 2 drinks. We were waiting for our order & let me tell y’all when we went and opened the quesadilla to put sauce and it had literally 10 pieces of meat like if it was being counted! Horrible experience! When wanting to try new food restaurants. Never again!

I had a hair in my orange juice, I kindly told a waitress and she ignored me and I spoke to another and she changed my juice, then they, angry for nothing, approached me to ask if I was offered anything else... it's very bad service. Only the food is delicious. Besides, I paid almost 40 just for a juice. Chilaquiles water and a quesadilla... ????

The food is very delicious but the service is terrible, they don't even greet and serve very reluctantly as if they were giving us food, the ladies are very despotic.

I got the baby on 3 Kings Day, so I had to purchase the tamales for El Dia de la Candelaria (Candlemas Day). I placed an order the day before and it was ready at the time I requested for pickup. The staff were friendly as well. I ordered an assortment of the tamales: rajas, red/green, pork/chicken, and sweet tamales. My coworkers loved them all. The tamales were all delicious. I highly recommend.

Best tamales in Chicago. I would say I live all the way up north and I travel all the way out west just to make sure I get a taste of these tamales the green chicken tamales are definitely a great start. Aside from the tamales everything there is so delicious and authentic.
