Majani Soulful Vegan Cuisine

Four things I definitely would recommend: water, pancakes, buffalo mushrooms, and the mac and cheese! As a vegetarian, I would have never guessed that mac and cheese was vegan! So good! Things that they could improve on... cleanliness! Another table and our table had to request for new utensils and cups... definitely not a good look; however, the decor and vibe is very welcoming, which is a huge plus! If you are from the south, I definitely would not recommend the grits! No ma'am! Majani is pricey, but the food is fresh! Overall as a vegetarian it was not for me, but I GREATLY appreciate having the option in our own neighborhood! #kudos

The menu was a little difficult to navigate but the person taking my order was really helpful in making sure that I got what I wanted. Jerk chicken was spicy and had great flavor and the mac and cheese was also really good. People hate on vegan food all the time but definitely give this place a try if you’ve never had vegan soul food.

Wow!!! I tried this restaurant for the very first time yesterday, as a treat from a personal acquaintance who was kind enough to cover whatever I wanted. I ordered the falafel burger, black eyed pea fritters, jerk tofu tacos, and the ginger lemonade. I truly do mean it when I say that every single item I had was so full of flavor, generously portioned, and kept me full! If I didn't live nearly an hour away from this restaurant, I would honestly come here all the time! Just delicious! 😊🙌🏿
