We decided to stop for dinner on a Sunday before a Blackhawks game. There was no one else in the restaurant. You place your order and seat yourself and the food is brought to you.Due to price increases, the price listed is not the price you pay . They have a limited selection of canned/bottled beers.Ordered their Signature Dish Korean Fried Chicken wings which were crispy lollipopped wings in a sweet glaze. Ordered medium which was just right. Very tasty with a hint of garlic. Gluten free.Also tried the Pad Thai with rice noodles,broccoli,cabbage,carrots,egg and added pork for 3.00. Also gluten free. Huge portion.Everything is made fresh to order so expect to wait. They do a lot of carry out so we waited over 30 minutes for our food.They also give you a few citrus candies for after your meal.If you don't mind the wait and want home cooking Chinese food..give MAK a try.

Really great spot to get some food. Huge proportions and food is served hot. Their chopsticks have a fork at the end of it which is super convenient if you need to switch between or have a preference for one over the other.

Egg rolls were big and just not tasty.The mak general Tsos chicken was chewy, maybe because of delivery but it did not hold up as well.The rice balls were alright as well, didn’t expect them to be as small as they were.

The food was good until it wasn't for some dishes. The veggie egg rolls were soggy. That made me sad and only ate the insides. I was excited for those. The donuts were warm and not oily, perfect amount of sweetness. The chicken wings were really good. Crispy and the perfect amount of spice. I got an overly veggie bowl with shrimp on top. I didn't enjoy the shrimp much but only because I paired them with the wrong pickled veggies in the bowl. My bad! Pretty good for take out.

Walked in while on lunch around 1115 and man where they swamped with orders. I ordered the kimchi and cheese dumplings and the gogi bowl extra hot. And man was the food great! The kimchi dumplings were spot on and covered many tastes savory and rich from the cheese fat and the different textures in it. Then the gogi bowl with broccoli and quinoa man when I asked for extra spicy I thought they would just throw in a little bit of chili flakes.. but man they really threw it in there and left me walking out with a runny nose on a 70 degree day.My problem with this establishment is they seem to not care about their customers. I was injured here from their equipment in the bathroom the staff didn't know how to file an incident report (MANAGER and EMPLOYEES). And the owner is taking forever to get back about anything.

Been coming here for a long time. Great food. Always get a small side of wings. They are so good.

I ordered catering for an office lunch and it was a hit! Different than our normal sandwiches and salads and there was enough food for people to come back for seconds. Everything was delicious but the spicy cabbage slaw and the pad thai stole the show.

Very good food and extremely polite staff, generous portions for reasonable prices!

I ordered a Pork Bowl, it tasted very nice! You can choose it’s spicy or not. I love it came with a veggie side, it was so fresh and delicious!

I ordered a delivery online and got a confirmation and receipt. A few minutes later I got email that my money was being refunded. When I called to find out why, they told me that they had stopped taking orders, although their site indicated that they were still open. So no dinner for us as a result. BAD OPERATION.

the wings were great! very crispy and the sauce is a ten. we also got the pork bowl with zesty cucumber and loved that too. will definitely be back! prices were great too

The eggplant skillet is everything. Healthy meals, fresh veggies, very skilled cooking and making healthier plates taste good! Not pretending to be authentic Asian food, still a great meal!

Stopped in for lunch on a whim, happy I did. Options are endless, made to order. Only wish my food was cooked hotter

The staff was so friendly! I ordered the Korean chicken wings medium and didn’t find them too spicy. They were perfectly crunchy! I have no idea how they make them gluten free and as crispy as they were but it was pretty good. The only reason it’s 4 and not 5 stars is because the broccoli didn’t seem as fresh or seasoned to me as it had claimed to be. The wings made up for it though. Affordable and good quality for the price! I’m excited to try the other dishes here!
