It was fine but I’m not sure if it’s Michelin worthy! I wasn’t wowed and have been to more impressive Omakases. For being a Michelin restaurant, I was expecting more and to be wowed. I think there is much better sushi in the city for the price and quality. Underwhelming for sure
Underwhelming. What a quick, expensive meal. About 1.5 hours in, the server let us know the main courses were over and asked if we wanted to order any additional servings of what we had eaten. I don't eat huge meals, but we were all a little shocked because it felt like we never had a main course. I left hungry and unsatisfied. Mako is a premier omakase experience. Course after course was prepared with skill and care. The sake and wine pairing meshed perfectly with the nigiri and hand rolls that kept on coming. If anyone is looking for a great night out, mako has to be the recommendation.
