Came here on Christmas Day. The food was excellent and the chef stopped by to talk with us which was nice. Got the chile en nogada which was delicious and other members of my party got mole dishes which I was envious of as well. Our server was fine but not particularly friendly or happy, especially for it being a holiday. She did not seem to want to talk about the menu or make any recommendations.
As always, the food is wonderful! However, I did feel that my margarita lacked much tequila. I love when Geno stops at the tables to find out how we enjoyed our evening. This adds so much to being at the restaurant when we can see the owner and chef come out to check up on his guests. We'll always like to try to bring friends who have never been there before. So far, we've had no complaints from our friends, and only positive reviews from them. Keep up the good work,...
Not you taco burrito Mexican restaurant. Fine dining at its best. Staff is well dressed and cheerful. Expansive menu and many specials. Bright cheerful space. Geno, the owner has been a staple in Chicago hospitality for some time. Always feel like family.
