My new favorite restaurant. Excellent food and service!

Food has been great! Love spots where we can speak Spanish! Some confusion sometimes with English. Food portions are great here. Flavor is on par!

The staff is always very welcoming every time we stop in. The chilaquiles verdes always hit the spot. The Huaraches are big enough for two people. The salsa de molcajete they give with the chips is made fresh. Give this place a try!

I( Celia) was there on a Saturday and the waitress messed up my order after telling her in detail exactly what I wanted. She did offer to fix it but at that point ,I was whatever. Didn’t want to inconvenience her. Went in a week later and the same waitress messed up my tea order and fail to bring salsa with my avocado order, I literally had to ask for it. At this point she said I look upset, I ignored her comment. Later she mentioned to me that she knew the person I was with on Saturday and I said yes she is married to my husband’s brother , she then said yes your husband is very serious. Who says things like that to a customer?? I was so shocked! At this point I felt like I had to tell her why I was upset. When I explained to her why she responded by saying people make mistakes. Too many mistakes for me. Unbelievable. She had the morning shift on Saturday the 28th and on the 3rd I went in around 11:30 am and it was the same waitress that took care of me on Saturday.

If I could give it no stars I would. Please do not order any seafood. Paid over $300 dollars and the shrimp cocktail tasted like dirty dish water. My mother and I threw up afterwards. The octopus salad tasted expired. Save yourself the upset stomach , time and money and don’t eat here. My dog didn’t even want the dam food. Got McDonald’s after.

Super yummy mom and pop restaurant. The salsa comes warm with crunchy chips. They have a wide menu to pick from. I got the frozen margarita it was perfect.

Ordered chilaquiles that weren't bad but it had so much salsa it was more like a soup of soggy tortillas. They also charged us chips and salsa that we never asked for? Most restaurants you go to they're free and I understand if some restaurants do charge. But if you're going to charge then mention that beforehand and don't just bring them out as we're getting seated otherwise we're going to think that they're free. Other than that it's not a bad place. Portions are very generous.

I always liked to go to eat a tampiqueña but I think that the meat is of very poor quality and it no longer tastes the same
