The only reason this isn't a full 5 star is that I had to ask to have the service fee (labeled employee benefits) taken off the bill. I get beef prices are up, then increase the price of the steaks. Everyone in Chicago who eats out regularly is done with service fees. You are a top notch sophisticated restaurant, don't deflate your brand with service fee games.
Our server was excellent really. Very attentive and enthusiastic. Welcome cocktail and the caviar olive martini were delicious. The bone in Ribeye we ordered was mediocre at best unfortunately. Our waitor recommended the beef carpaccio and it was delicious! Is it $50 worth? No. I would say $30 tops. The Brussels sprouts were not good at all. Almost like eating overcooked grass leaves. The tuna tartare was good I would get that again for sure. Overall not what I'm used to...
It was awesome! Went to my parents anniversary & server went above and beyond . We brought a two year old and two month old & she was so sweet! All her recommendations for food and wine were perfect too!
