The beer was good although the service was really bad. The attendants were rude and they served the beer in plastic glasses. Besides that, the music was too loud —almost impossible to talk to or hear a person close to you!
What an absolutely gorgeous place! Great atmosphere, food and drinks were phenomenal! The pickle plate was so good, strawberries and all (just give it a chance, trust me) and you can't go wrong with cheese curds! I also had the oatmeal raisin old fashion (raisin syrup made in house) and the kraków dip sandwich. One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've had in a long time! And, on top of that, we made it in time for crazy bingo, which was a blast! Overall I am so happy...
Over the years, I’ve been hanging out at the Maplewood Lounge, back when it was still a small, humble taproom tucked discreetly into the end of the block. It had this undeniable charm — the kind of place where you’d walk in and be greeted by name, where conversations flowed as easily as the beer, and where the focus was clearly on community and craft.
