I've been here 3 times now and it's amazing every single time. The Horchata is some of the best I've ever had!

We recommend this restaurant, since we walked in the service was excellent. The waitress knew the menu well, and answered questions about ingredients in many dishes. The seafood was fresh, the octupus and calamari were cooked perfectly. The prices were fair and comparable to other Chicago spots. We will go back soon.

The food is good, but everything is very simple. They don't give you good service. You order something and they don't bring it to you. The recommendation is to order to go. The volume of the music is very loud, it seems more like a bar.

Went here with a friend and my fiancé for a late night dinner. The sushi was different in a good way! Fresh, creative, and definitely tasty. The aguachile brought the spice and flavor we were craving. Cool vibe, great service, and a solid spot to wind down the night. Would come back for sure.

I found MAR & SUCHII on TikTok and decided to check it out—and I’m glad I did. The service was exceptional. The server took the time to explain the whole menu and made me feel right at home.

The food was on another level. Some of the best, most authentic seafood I’ve had in a while. The shrimp were fresh and full of flavor, and the presentation was clean and impressive—big props to the chef. You can tell there’s passion behind every dish.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely one of those spots that lives up to the hype.

Beware of the prices. Price on the menu are not the same as on the bill. I asked the waitress and she asked the manager and she just came with that there a disclosure on the menu that states prices can change without notice. Manager didn’t come out and explain themselves. I saw a review about the same issue 6 months ago. They are paper menus!!! Can’t print new ones with the correct prices? I mean, they charge you 6% for using a credit card - that’s just crazy, typically it’s 3% elsewhere.

Service was mediocre, we waited a good 45 minutes for our food. Waitress was nice and informative about the specials they were offering.

Ordered a mojara regular and was 8/10.
Ordered camarones zarandiados. Was not expecting 10 small camarones on a bed of raw red onion and limes. That’s it. Not a very good presentation. More like camarones chamuscados and shriveled up. Came with 2 garlic bread but was cold. Sent it back and must have pissed off the cook because one side came back almost burnt and the other side not touched.
All in all, for the price, service and quality, definitely not worth the hype. I love supporting the businesses in my community. There are hole in the wall places with quality food better than this place.

I recently bought my family to this restaurant and all I can say is the food is not good anymore as when it first opened .The caldo de camaron tasted like water and it it didn’t look appetizing.. the langostinos tasted overly salty .. the tacos de asada tasted like the oil has been reused on the steak , the garlic bread was cold .And the waitress didn’t give us any salsa for the tacos . Definitely won’t be coming back and wont recommend to anyone .

The best fresh seafood and portions are worth the price. Don't need to drive to the city. Most recommended to try.

This place is definitely on the expensive side. I got one order of shushi (only had 10 shushi pieces for 18$) and langostinos, ($30) but it doesn’t come with any sides like rice or even a small salad. I had to order extra for rice. They all come on their own, and the portions aren’t that big to fill you up. It’s a nice place though, and the quality of the food was decent. I don’t think it was worthy of the price on the quality of food
