1st time there and last stopped in today Monday 1-27-25 with my guy nothing special way over rated ..prices are way too expensive for the quality of meat steak was burnt lettuce was old n still wet bread was hard as ever. Girls in there are rude! I'll stiick to the Addison brickyard spot. Zero stars.

I came here with my aunt today and enjoyed this restaurant ?. The food here was really good, the space was decorated cute, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was very quick as well. My only thing wrong with this restaurant is the lack of seating and the confined space. Everything is close together, and you may not find a spot to sit. Other than that, this was a great little spot, and I will be back soon.

The service is great nothing says homemade than grandma cooking in the back . Wonderful upgrade and hidden Gem in Logan Square. The best "Cafe con Leche" next to a Cuban or Steak Sandwich is a must. Guisados are made fresh daily and OMG the Guava and Queso pastries the reason I been coming here over 20yrs.

Perfect small breakfast that is filling. Cuban sandwiches are absolutely delicious here, I'd say best in Chicago IMO. To top it off cafe con leche like no other. If you have tried this place, your missing out on simple, cheap, great food.

My family and I would come here very very often but not anymore after our recent visit... We ordered three sandwiches, two steak and one chicken and three coffees for a total of $42!!! How are people supposed to afford a breakfast! Oh I know, do yourselves a favor and go to cafe marianao on Narragansett and Addison... they're steak sandwiches are still $7! They can afford to keep their prices at that but marcelas has to charge $12 a sandwich ?! Insane and price gouging at its finest. Sandwiches aren't as good as before either. Mediocre sandwich at a very high price. Will not be returning.
