The food was ok , but will not be going there again thats for sure . Only reason i gave 2 stars was because the waitress was nice, i didnt know restaurants have a fee for ordering to go.

The food is ok. Service not good at all. The restrooms are dirty. Overall not a place you want to go more one time!

DO NOT COME HERE I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. They advertised pickled scallops priced at 30$ a plate ( reasonable) but the thing is they tried to serve me TALAPIA AND NOT SCALLOP. I asked the waiter why did they serve me fish and not scallops. Then he told me they don't have scallops they only have fish. I told his it's false advertisement then he proceeds to get his manager. His manager should have been more honest. Instead he lies to my face and tells me they cut the scallops differently. Clearly it was fish. Point of the story do not come here with the expectation to leave happy
I came to this place for 10 years and I lost all respect for this place

Checked out Mariscos El Veneno in West Lawn—spent around $30 on camaron sarandeados, spicy crab, and BYOB michelada setup. Seafood flavors were solid and portions were hearty. Cozy spot with ocean-blue walls and live music—got a bit loud, but adds to the vibe. Staff brought a complimentary ceviche tostada, which was a nice touch. Overall a fun night, would totally go back.

The platter depicted in the photograph was priced at $250. While the menu indicates that the price is “market price,” I find it excessive. However, the staff was exceptionally lively, helpful, and friendly. They extended a heartfelt happy birthday to my husband and contributed to a pleasant ambiance. It is important to note that this establishment operates on a BYOB basis and offers a limited selection of mixers and chasers.
