Been to this location a couple of times and will keep coming back here. Way better service, the food is amazing always!! The mojarras and langostinos are S+ tier amazing!! The staff is very attentive. The bussers are on it fast as hell, they are very polite! They show respect to you, there parents should be very proud! Great group of people always treats me and my family with respect. Can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you guys and see you very soon 😊 happy holidays!

Definitely recommend La Costa in West Town!
Everything was delicious, from the ceviche to the margaritas to the steak and shrimp! The food is by far one of the best I have tried in the Chicago area.
Their service was also great! Very attentive!

Just visited here for the first time - holy cow!! We came here after too many sub par experiences at a similar restaurant down the street, and WOW!!! The food: excellent!! Well-seasoned and ample portions! What really won us over though was the service. From the host stand, to the servers, to the guy bussing tables - kudos to all of them for being truly outstanding people and for delivering an outstanding dining experience many thanks.

Amazing langostinos as well as the seafood Molcajete, their carne asada was also delicious the drinks are very good
My only suggestion is that they start serving dessert
Tres leches cakes, maybe some 🍮 flan, or chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream because that’s the only missing piece of this wonderful seafood restaurant

Exceptional service. The atmosphere is lively. The micheladas are balanced. The mixed crab you get when you sit down and the salsas are a great touch. Be careful with the orange habanero salsa, it's lethal. Coming from me that's saying A LOT. I got a fish taco. It was decent,I like my fish tacos grilled and not breaded so that's why I can't give it a better review. The Camarones Cucarachas have a savory flavor but I was expecting them to have some spiciness but they are not spicy at all. They come with the shell on and are not divined so it is a mission to get them all peeled and it will take a while to eat them. By the time I got them peeled they were no longer warm. I couldn't bring myself to pay the extra $20 to have them come out peeled but it may be worth it 🤷🏽♀️

From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. Every member of the staff was attentive and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. It’s rare to find a place where you feel truly valued, but La Costa is one of those rare finds.
The tostadas and salsas are nothing short of divine. The flavors are vibrant, each bite carrying a sense of authenticity and love for the craft. And then, there’s the garlic shrimp with fries. This dish was a revelation. The shrimp were tender, perfectly seasoned with garlic, and paired wonderfully with crispy fries. Each element on the plate—from the beans to the rice, and even the small side of fresh salad and orange slice—was crafted with care.
La Costa West Town serves more than just a meal; it offers an experience that feels like a warm embrace from the universe. I left feeling not just satisfied, but grateful for the moment.
