I don’t know what is wrong with the service and the restaurant itself I have been going here for a couple years now and they have been really disappointing lately. The few days I have gone, they have forgotten to give me bread in my plate that already comes with it, the waitress don’t bother to ask if anything is needed, when we call they’re attention from any of the waters they pretend to not see us. I would have really love to keep coming here because it was my favorite, but lately they have been disappointing. The prices have gone significantly up, I was told the last few months that they were getting new menus, but always see the same once.
Would I recommend again? No. Would I give it one more try, maybe but it would be the last.

Ordered shrimp, oysters, octopus etc. All poor. They don't de-vein their shrimp, fishy taste throughout and a lack of freshness with the seafood

What I liked. The staff are friendly, the meals didn't take long to get out, they have good taste in spanish music. The food portions are good.
What I didn't like. I don't know how often they have live music, but it's way too loud, I had to yell over the waitress to get my order, there wasn't that many people that day so I don't know why the music was that noisy. The food is good, but too salty. The alcoholic drinks are way too expensive, and they have very little alcohol in them. I found a hair in my bread, so I don't think the staff uses hair nets. Overall, I wouldn't go back again, the bill for three people was way too high, over $140.00 and that included the tip which was $17.00. I'd recommend going somewhere else.

If you're craving seafood that hits different, Mariscos La Palma is the spot. I dropped in on a Saturday night and was blown away. Started with the shrimp ceviche—fresh, zesty, and packed with flavor. Then, I went all in with the Langostinos Nayarit—prawns sautéed in their special sauce. Absolutely fire. The vibe was lively, with live music adding to the energy. Service was on point; the staff made me feel right at home. Definitely coming back for more.

The food seemed to be from the day before, and the ceviche had too much onion.
The cucumbers in my michelada were old.

I took my husband for his birthday They said not all plates are free on birthdays. They charge you 3% on credit cards and then they charge you tip and courtesy already without asking. I don’t think that’s a good deal recommended.
I love this place, I can say is my favorite restaurant; they serve the most delicious seafood! But i stopped going because is always so loud; the music is okay but i don’t understand why it has to be so intense. We couldn’t even have a conversation and every time i went, it kinda kills my appetite and gave me headache :( . I wish you take in consideration this because i love this place and i have been craving seafood so bad! But i just like this place but just for the loudy music i dont go

From a chef’s perspective, these guys know exactly what they’re doing. Whether it’s the salmon, the fajitas, the rice, or the beans—everything is perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Every bite somehow tastes better than the last. And this consistency isn’t just on slow days—it holds up even when they’re busy. A truly great Mexican restaurant with a clear attention to detail that shows in every dish.

Very disappointed with the food at Mariscos La Palapa. Ordered the shrimp zarandeados and they were drenched in ketchup with no flavor at all. Bland and unappetizing. Won’t be coming back.
