Visiting family at the nearby hospital, and as a fan of the MCA, the Marisol has become my place to get away from the medical world to a place that feels like home. And wow how my family and I feel welcome. The food is and has always been excellent, with many healthy options. I just stopped by for a veggie burger and leek soup that were out of this world. My sister wanted to come by just as they were closing, and our server Ian made sure she could order and feel incredibly welcome. The visit lightened our day at a very heavy time. We really appreciate this wonderful venue, service, and food. This place is nourishing in so many ways.

The breakfast sandwich in the cafe ($ 16) was the worst I ever had in my entire museum life - 50+ yrs. dripping fat out of cheesy and disgusting meet. Never again!

Lovely pit stop before going to the museum. Please note that the Happy Hours listed are wrong (they have a very strict 6 pm deadline even though the website mentions they run until 6.30 pm)

Excelent service and awesome decoration. I would go back for sure. It is not your typical brunch place.

Another gem on the Chicago restaurant scene with very creative and tasteful dishes, special cocktails, excellent service and surprisingly reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Ask for Matty if you want a knowledgeable wait person who can provide lots of info about the dishes you are considering as well as providing great service.

We loved the lunch. Creative food with fresh products? we eat Humus and green salads a lot. These however were from another world it seemed. Absolutely crisp, fresh, creative in design and taste. And completed with verry good service.

We came here for a friend's birthday and had reservations for 11. There were 8 of us. A few of us got the mimosas, and we watched them mix it, I will see they do not skimp on the booze and poured a full bottle into the pitcher. Their breakfast burrito was outstanding. The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were cooked very nicely, too. I did not eat the beignets, but everyone else seemed to like them. The only downfall was our service. A few of us waited 20-30 minutes for a new drink, and when we wanted to order more, we had a hard time getting our server back to us. They were fairly crowded, but it seemed there were many servers on the floor (5 or 6). But I've also never been a server and may not understand how hard this can be to balance. Just saying it so future guests can be aware.

Came here for restaurant week with some friends and loved it. The lavender granola parfait and taleggio tart were incredible. Our server was also so attentive and friendly even though it was a super busy Saturday.
Incredible food and wonderful service. The menu is meticulously crafted and ingredients are high quality. This restaurant has always been amazing for brunch, but this was the first time we went for dinner. It was just as good. One of the most underrated restaurants in Streeterville.

We were pleasantly surprised by the food at Marisol! We went for the 2024 restaurant week and tried four dishes. Everything was excellent! Our server was also extremely attentive even though the place was crowded and busy for a Saturday in mid January. We'd definitely go again to try the regular menu and dinner since we only went for brunch. It would be nice to have a basket or something to put our coats and bags in as the seats are quite low and place a little crowded. However, there may have been a coat check we overlooked on the way in.Overall, highly recommended.
