I recommend everything on their menu ? it’s Soo good and especially the fish sandwich!! They get my money everytime!! I’ll definitely keep coming back
I'm here right now. My meal is beyond delicious. It's rib eye steak paneni melt and a turkey grinder wrap. Ok, both sandwiches are blowing my mind and Chef Greg is super cool. My steak paneni literally made me sit in silence and just feel happy.... it was so good I almost thought that this is mu new daily lunch meal forever. The turkey panini is basically perfection in a flour tortilla. Both dishes blew my mind. That being said, and the food is great, but he cooked it from scratch. Meaning I waited about 30 to 45 minutes for my food.. Was it worth it.... Yes! it was worth it times 10. While I waited, I talked to Greg about the owners events that I will be attending because this is 4 blocks from my house. I love what I thought was a bank 4 blocks from where I live and i hope you give them a try because they are a new favorite
Still by far the best place I've been in the south shore area
Features: Chef Rah and his team are pleasant, and the food was delicious. I tried the East Bay fish sandwich, which is a crispy whitefish filet on a brioche. The fish was fresh and flaky, the crust crunchy and delicious. I also tried the hibiscus ginger drink, which was strong in ginger flavor and delicious as well. The peach cobbler pound cake is a MUST, made with real butter and better than most.
The food is over good and gourmet. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I will come back again for more! I've been here multiple times, and love that it's black owned and ran.
A real gem of the south shore
So I 1st visited on August 11th) and I enjoyed the experience; both the service and food were good (but the pastries were freaking awesome). So I was excited because that meant I had a hidden gem on the South Side and I didn’t need to make anymore trips to the North-Side for tasty treats. I decide to return the following week, now the pastry I fell in love with was sold out so I figured I’d try another one that way it wasn’t a wasted trip (it was just ok), I figured I’d try to phone ahead for my 3rd visit (a few days later). Ha that didn’t work, so I said what the heck it’s a nice day I’ll make the trek over there… still no pastry, in fact this time they had ABSOLUTELY NO PASTRIES! The lady at the counter says here give me your number and I’ll call you when we get more in (needless to say that never happened). Fast forward to yesterday (October 7th), I figured I’d give them another try but upon arrival they were closed and there was no sign on the door, just CLOSED during business hours. I figured I’d try my luck again today because things happen right, ha the joke’s on me, it was yet another wasted trip!
The food is magnificently well flavored, the spicy is flavorful with just the right amount of punch. Chef's Rah, Maisha and Gregg really know their stuff. Their CBD products they sell are top line in excellence. And the customer service is out of this world. It's worth it to stop in. If you questions you can feel free to ask. The Chefs are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and the affect you may experience.

The j*** lamb chops were amazing! So delicious and we can’t wait to have them as well as the j*** chicken again. The pound cake was a little better than average.

Yoooo! That vegan chicken was ??? so good, ask to get it spicy and and with CBD oil for a good relaxung meal. Must eat fresh! Theennnnn get one of the moon babies that has THC for a good clean high-elevation you dont and wont want to have to smoke for. The owner is super informative with an amazing and clean restaurant. Full of suggestions! Also the lentil soup so bomb you wont need a ggod chicken noodle soup cause you can get this soup here. I am vegan and was super proud and delighted of the establishment. Another wonderful reason I get and want to go back is because its also Black Owned, I love supporting quality !!!!! Must try for any great food, great drinks, great conversation, THC and CBD needs!
