Great steak burritos and fajitas as well. We usually take out but will take advantage of the patio in the summer. Friendly staff, great addition to the neighborhood.

Overall, the quality of the food was okay. You can enjoy a sit down meal, but don’t expect the service to be perfect. Our server forgot our drinks, but the food was correct.

Tonight was my second time eating here, and it was ever better than the first time. The food is delicious! I had the al pastor, mushroom al pastor and chile relleno tacos and each one was better than the last. I like that there is a lot of variety in the menu with some off the beaten path choices. I have not been in the restaurant yet, but my Husband reported that it was adorable inside with fun cocktails and nice ambience. This will definitely be added to our rotation!

Charged us for the wrong meal and took forever, even though we were some of the only customers in the restaurant. Then would not refund us when we tried to correct the

Great tacos and friendly service. Had the mushroom Al pastor tacos and they were great. Good guacamole and street corn. My only gripe about the last item was that it may be better to shave the corn off the cob, especially if people are sharing. But it was delicious nonetheless! The food was amazing! We had the chips and salsa for our appetizers. The salsa was so good. And we had two drinks - I love that you can craft your own margarita. I had a mezcal margarita with mango, and my husband had the burbujas de amor, and both were made really wellI got the three plate taco with mushroom, Al pastor and fish taco. I was sad that they didn’t have lingua tacos anymore but they said it was a slow item. I’d still recommend all the tacos that I had and they were very delicious. My husband had the chicken burrito and he said it was really good. Would come here again and bring friends!

The steak burrito would have been good if they would actually put some meat in it. I got a 1/4 of the way into the burrito before I even saw a small piece of steak. $14 with tax for a steak burrito that has virtually no steak. Same issue with the drinks. Expensive with very little alcohol. This place is not going to make it unless they start giving people what they are paying for as there is too much competition from them to survive they way they are going. There are many better choices around. I won’t be back.

Asked for a steak burrito and if i got 1/2 of a spatula full of meat i was lucky. Then almost 6.00 for a street taco that is half the size as a regular taco ???

I’ve never left a Google review, but this is my favorite restaurant ever, so I just had to. I’ve had them when they were a stand at the mall and was so sad when they closed down, but noticed that this restaurant with the same name opened up, so I figured I’d go see if it was the same because they had the same burrito bowl I used to get. Upon going, I spoke to the owner and found out that it was the same as the one in the mall! Same recipes and same amazing food. I’m so happy I found them again and can’t wait to be a regular here. Definitely give them a try! I got the carne asada bowl and it tasted exactly how I remember it. So yummy!

This place is an absolute gem. Everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the quality of ingredients is a welcome step up from everything similar in the area. Great to eat there, but the takeout is phenomenal as well.

This restaurant replaced another Chicago chain taco restaurant in our area. The old place had a very large selection of decent food, but the place was really run down. The new place has been redone to be a clean and welcoming modern space. Now, for the food. Bland, bland, bland; no flavor, rice and refried beans. We spent the extra money for a basket of chips with salsa. This came with two condiment containers with the salsas in them. Both had good flavor, but the salsa Verde was too watery. It was nice that we got two choices, but the way they were served was tacky. The fajitas did come out steaming hot, but were also a little bland. The tortillas were warm but oily; had to dab them with a napkin. It was a Friday night with no more than two tables at a time in the place (it's really cold). That said the service was slow, ran out of water, wasn't asked if I wanted to bring my leftovers home and it took a while for us to get our check. The server was also the bartender. I was trying to think of other things this place was missing; cilantro, crema and Topo Chico. We really need better restaurants in this area (Irving park)
