Got the tea and banana bread. Tea was some of the most fragrant and herbaceous I have ever had, and they used just enough cream to complement and enhance the flavor of the herbs perfectly.The banana bread was drizzled in the best honey I have ever been served, and coated with what tasted like coconut cream -- once again, just the right amount imo -- and the bread was moist and fragrant.Really wish I showed up with more of an appetite or were in-town a bit longer the menu looked absolutely fabulous. I don't write reviews often but our service was super-pleasant, this ownership is new and sorely deserves to gain traction! I wish them luck!

It's not Mashawi grill anymore it's Shibam and it's TRASH ?portions are a joke. That platter bellow cost $19 bucks. A piece of steak!?, few pieces of chicken and one kabob skewer. Hummus was good but portion was small. SAVE UR MONEY

What a pleasant surprise! Tucked in Lincoln mall on McCormick road is a gem of a place, small Yemenite restaurant.Ordered the grilled Butterfield fish and the Agda, yameni style lamb or chicken style stew cooked with veggies and herbs. Both dishes very well seasons and bursts with flavor. It's simple place with absolutely great food.

Best customer service EVER!!! Food is very tasty & melts in your mouth. Called in an order, it was misunderstood for something else. I brought it to their attention & the young lady went in the back & fixed me the correct order very quickly & gave me both meals. I didn’t even have to pay extra. I will most definitely be returning & informing my coworkers of the place.

Absolutely the best, freshest and flavorful middle eastern food I’ve ever had, and I’ve been everywhere on Devon. Get the grill mix! Comes with fresh lamb skewers, chicken and kebab. The soup is absolutely out of this world!! Extremely impressed with Mashawi Grill!!!

Starting it was great now everything is cold not even warm while dine in and I don't understand when you say Yemeni why it's doesn't taste like that why there is only one type of dry rice and meat is added with sauces on top just to taste different is it Arabic food or Mexican truck food
These people have couple of branches in chicago....they are charging extra 25 dollars for family space....just for privacy charging costumers is against the dignity of the such people.

Food is perfect and prices are reasonable, lamb mandi chicken mandi, mixed grail and lamb Augda are some of the dishes you can enjoy here. Please keep working as you have improved the customer service. Maryam is a hard working and professional in her job. I would suggest it to every body just to try once.

I went there with my family and when we went inside of the restaurant there was one girl on the counter she was on the phone she didn't even say hi to us when we ask her can we get some food she said you can't sit here she went us to sit on the Pacific place we said ok we order the food our food takes forever to come and we tell her our food have to be well done she didn't even say ok the time we was in the restaurant she was speaking Arabic language they need to know that everyone can't speak Arabic and it's mean to talk front of the customer she didn't care at all when our food came our food have some bad smell it was not even cook properly and when she gave us the food she didn't give us any spoons or forks then I went to the counter and tell her we are not gonna eat with hands this location is not good to eat anything it's waste of time and money it's not even worth because they don't respect there customer and there order I really hate it

The customer service lady is very very arrogant, I have ordered the chicken mandi and turkish coffee as take away ( the turkish coffee was served without any lid closed) and we have been made to wait for 20-25 mins , after reaching home to our surprise it turns out to be Lamb Mandi. I dont eat lamb and it was a total wastage of time for me.when called the restaurant they were not ready to refund and rather insisted to come and collect the original order and argued that they had given me an expensive order. Who on earth will drive back again for 1 hr.I was very excited to eat at this place and It turned out a very bad experience for me.Very pathetic service and to the top of that the attitude of the restaurant owner was very arrogant. I would rate it zero.
