Restaurant is beautiful, ambiance was great! Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Meats were good, sides needed seasoning and were a bit disappointing. Waiter was frustrating. We felt extremely rushed. Before we could open a menu, or pick up a utensil he was back about something and it absolutely impacted the experience.

All I can say is we had gone to this location twice and it was amazing both times. First time I took my parents that were from out of town and the second time I took my in-law from out of town. I will just say that Omar Garcia will go above and beyond for you to have a great dinner and experience. Not only was he amazing to talk with but the service that he gives is quite literally the best I've experienced. My mom with her birthday surprise was just amazed. Even the next week taking my in-law, he remember and even made her feel special! I will tell you the honest truth, Omar is AMAZING! Please, if you decide to go here, ask for his table. In the future I will call to make sure that he will be working and then I will make my reservation! A++

If you play background music at a volume louder than conversational level, the people in the room will talk louder to be heard by the people at their table. Volume can be unpleasant as it was when we dined.

OMG outstanding. We live nearby but this was our first time here. We will be back many more times. We had the lemon chicken and pork chop. The best we have ever had at any Chicago restaurant. Beautiful experience and environment! Our waitress was outstanding, servers as well. Everyone was so friendly and caring. They made our evening completely comfortable and enjoyable. Can't saying enough. Oh, the desert was outstanding as well. Mmmmm so very delicious!!!

Great experience as always staff was overly accommodating the bartender Aaliyah was awesome she was also our server and she made the best pomegranate lemon drop martini ever. I visit Mastro's frequently but I make sure to always stop in during restaurant week.

My server and bus men were amazing, courteous and prompt to respond. My husbands steak was over cooked but they took it back and replaced it promptly. The experience was great.
Food and service was excellent, although options for specific seating (high table / booth) would have been greatly appreciated. Music was a little too loud as well. Also dress code did not seem to be enforced equally throughout the restaurant, with some wearing more casual clothing (gym clothes, leggings, baseball hats,).
