Mather's is certainly more than a cafe. I hadn't been there in a while, but when I received a mailer about a $3.00 breakfast with two eggs, hash browns & 2 pieces of toast, I decided go make it a point to stop there for breakfast. Beside the restaurant, or cafe, if you prefer, they also have classes for a number of different things. Ordering was very easy and they bring the food to you, at the table you choose. Great food, delicious, affordable, nice people, wonderful workers always there to help you.I will like thank the owner of Mathers for coming up with such a great idea of a seniors place like this, where we can eat out more often, meet other seniors, and have activities.
This restaurant offers excellent food for very affordable prices. Owned by a non-profit foundation dedicated to the welfare of senior citizens, this restaurant also offers classes there, such as meditation, exercise and yoga. I was taken there by a businessman, and we were joined by his lady friend. She ordered a tropical chicken salad which came with garlic toast, a meal which she liked.
