Matis Cafe is great place all around, great food great staff and awesome owner. I’ve been here couple times with family and friends we all had amazing time. Highly recommended ?

Nice atmosphere, ok coffee but sadly poor food service. Came for dinner with my boyfriend Friday night, excited to try a new cafe lounge in the area, the waitress was nice and attentive however, service was below subpar. Common sense as waitstaff is to bring the appetizer then both entrees together, right? Our appetizer arrived then not even 5 minutes later I get my entree my boyfriend’s entree was not ready yet we were told. My grilled chicken was salty and over cooked. By the time I was done eating my entree my boyfriends entree arrived 20 minutes later! Our waitress didn’t even offer a discount or free coffee not even a cookie for poor timing and service. We won’t be recommending let alone returning.

My date and I were refused service on 1/2. Told they were closed 2hrs before closing. There were people inside and people still walking in.A business has the right to refuse service to *anyone* however please don't market yourselves as lgtbqa friendly then kick out Trans folx.

The waitress was really sweet, professional and even helped me go out of my comfort zone to try something new and I loved it! Their wildberry ice tea was delicious. Me and my friends had my baby shower brunch here and our waitress was AMAZING. 😊❤️ Was on top of the table and attended any needs or wants. Very nice, polite, price was super reasonable and their linguini sea food plate was YUMMY 😋

I entered late when they were almost closing and they welcomed me in immediately. I felt so comfortable and a connection with them. I let them know about myself and were very attentive to my needs. I am handicapped with severe scoliosis. They made sure I was comfortable and actually made my day. Beautiful inside, especially with those beautiful people.Yes, I am single and don’t like going out by myself, but I did it and had a great time. I will be back Monday to listen to some salsa ? music ?? (I’m from Puerto Rico o and if you’re looking for me by the photo, I’m the one on the right but with purple-burgundy hair ?).At Miti’s It felt like the show Cheers, were everybody knows your name.Like home and family ?Highly recommend ?
