Had issue with billing (its actually my fault paying the bill without checking on it, i doubled the gratuity part). But the Manager handled it very fast and keep me posted a day after. Its no problem he said he would gladly return any fees that were charged and texted me the receipt as well and upon checking its only the gratuity part. I would say Thank you for the top notch customer service and food ofcourse. There’s no doubt the very best authentic Filipino food in Chicago. My family of 4 always asked for Maxx chicken, pancit, kare kare and most of all my number 1 crispy pata. So good! Thank you Maxx Chicago for opening here in the US, we are coming back for more halo halo since its spring/summer. More power to Maxx Chicago?? ❤️❤️❤️

Customer service sucks, called for take out and spoke with Ethel,I was polite and asking reg my order for 2 whole fried chicken,I don’t know but suddenly she is urging/rushing me to order as per Ethel there are a lot of people in line, so I ordered 2 whole chicken with kamote fries with additional payment for it, when I went there to pick up my order,I confronted her re her manners tho she apologized and she said there are 3 people in line and as per checking the restaurant it’s not even full (few tables) just told her na it shouldn’t be that way, and I check my order Walang kamote fries,(was charge only for the chicken) Minadali ako sa pag order hindi naman nakuha tamang order ko. Thank you Ms Ethel.

Had an amazing dining experience at Max's Restaurant in Chicago! The Filipino cuisine was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. Don't miss out on their signature dishes—they're a true culinary delight! Can't wait to visit again. ?? #MaxsChicago #FoodieHeaven

The food was so good and tasted authentic. there were 9 of us and we were all able to get stuffed over this meal! The restaurant was warm and welcoming - and it felt like a whole family meal. The only "negative" feedback was the higher price point, but I appreciate having a Max's in the Midwest!

This was a great lunch experience. If you have never been to Max's, try the whole chicken and sweet potato fries.

Always a good sign when I see a max's in a city and I was so excited to see it in chi town! Definitely a good Filipino franchise to visit for the Filipino staples. We got an assortment of food such as lumpia, diniguan, fried chicken, pancit palabok, Lechon kawali, and of course sisig! Location is in a good area with lots of parking, next to seafood city and other Filipino stores. Will definitely be back!

Service sucked. Been calling but since they entertain people in groups they were ignoring me.when a waitress finally came they wouldn't even let u finish talking coz they were in a hurry to go to other tables i guess. she was throwing my to go orders infront of me and turns her back on me right away. So humiliating. And i know they used left over meat on their pancit canton and too salty. Tira tira yun mga ipinangsahog nila goodness

Excellent value for a sit-down restaurant with great food and great service at very reasonable prices.Food: Ordered (1) half chicken that looked big enough to be a whole chicken, deep-fried and this restaurant's rightly-deserved signature dish, (2) daing na bangus, a very large, meaty milkfish marinated in a mixture of vinegar, crushed peppercorn, garlic, and salt, (3) lechon kawali, large pork belly bites deep-fried in a pan or wok, (4) "small," even though it was much larger than small, garlic rice, and (5) calamansi juice, a juice from the calamansi citrus fruit which is used extensively in Filipino cooking and tastes both sweet and sour. Portions were immense and so leftovers for everything but the calamansi juice needed boxing to take home. Flavors were excellent throughout, although the garlic rice could have been stronger and the lechon kawali, while cut in traditional-sized cubes, could be cut in smaller bites for easy munching. Last, everything was crunchy...but the rice and juice, of course! 4/5Service: First time in years where it was this good. Servers were attentive and considerate and, and! personable. Tip well. 5/5Atmosphere: Clean, spacious, bright and airy, with vast windows to look outside. 5/5Too full to eat dessert, but looking forward to trying Max's caramel bars.Parking: Ample parking is available depending on arrival.

The food was great, the service was too slow, but the server was helpful. Our only complaint is during the payment, 18% gratuity was already added to the total bill, but upon payment the cashier was insisting for a tip between 15, 18 and 20%. We are not in the mood to argue so we gave another 15%. 33% tip for a not so excellent service because of the cashiers demand.

We ordered crispy pata, pinakbet, BBQ, sinigang na baboy, and sisig..The food is good except for the Pinakbet, too salty and the BBQ its burned and too gummy.Atmosphere is good too..feels like your home kasi ang daming Pinoy na kumakain..For the service, the waitress na nag serve sa amin is so snob. Parang she had a long day.. though it was not even late afternoon. We were there at 11.30 am last saturday. Ang suplada ni ate.. we are group of family like 17 kami with kids.. We requested if we can have 1 table in a row. Sabi nya "kami na bahala" with a look of mataray.. and the worst one is when we are done and she put togo box and the bill, she just put it in a table and say nothing and walked away. Where she can hand it to my friend whose paying the bill. Sorry hindi ako macomment sa ganito pero medyo na off lang kami..and we are from a long drive din.. marami din tao that time.. we dont expect for faster service..pero a little kindness sana...sana ok lang si ate ??
