Maxwell Street Polish is a classic spot for Chicago-style hot dogs and sausages! I tried their signature Maxwell Street Polish sausage, and it was perfectly grilled, juicy, and topped with the tangy grilled onions and mustard that make it so iconic. The fries on the side were crispy and seasoned just right. The staff were friendly and efficient, even during a busy lunch crowd. A must-visit if you want an authentic taste of Chicago street food!

I had a terrible experience at the Maxwell Street Polish on 7445 S State. The service was rude and unprofessional, and I was treated with no respect as a paying customer. On top of that, the cashier even tried to cheat me out of my money. The staff showed no concern for customer service, and it completely ruined my visit. I will not be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone until they improve how they treat people.

I paid for 8 tacos with cheese when I got home the paper that the tacos were wrapped in had melted to the cheese. Now I have the option of eating the paper with the cheese or take it off after I paid extra for the cheese 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
